When you think of Haywyre you can already expect some abstract sounds with his creative style of dubstep and future bass. Then to have Cofresi come in to remix one of his tracks from his PANORAMA LP is a whole ‘nother level of greatness. What is interesting is Haywyre rocks the keyboards while Cofresi kicks it with percussive instruments and now, with Cofresi’s live performance video of Haywyres STORYTELLER, they both have live videos to compare! To see the two work it in their own style is something else and Cofresi brings in so much energy with his percussive rendition.
You know you better watch out! Ayoo is only about That Thing, That Thing making you dance hard and sing out loud. The Chicago brothers are back with a remix of yet another iconic artists song. For those of you that appreciate a good cross genre mashup this fusion of Hip Hop, Soul & Bass will have you jumping in excitement. If you do not live under a rock you would know Lauryn Hill‘s Doo Wop is one of the most recognizable tunes in Hip Hop & R&B. Ayoo, just like their remix of Future and the Weeknds Low Life, take the iconic song, strip it down, move the words around and add their signature low end bass house sound and turn a soulful tune into a dance floor sensation. Check this beat out and move that ass like you think it is a trend.
JackLNDN returns to the scene with not one but 2 remixes; of the same song. That is right, Louis the Child‘s track It’s Strange with K.Flay influenced LNDN so much that he made a light and a dark version express his creative ideas on this song. One track has that night life garage house vibe and the other is like a day at the beach. This man continuously making the best feel good dance music and his remixes are spotless and addictive like his most recent remix of Zimmer that just feels like summer. Not only are his remixes improving but his performances also. LNDN plans to bring live music to his touring resume and we look forward to hear this new live energy from him.
Download his track from itunes linked in JackLNDN’s soundcloud below.
It was a matter of time but eekkoo has broken the bonds between him and mau5trap records to go onto new horizons. Since Joel AKA Deadmau5 has called upon eekkoo to work with him for his skillful production, eekkoo has been releasing some of greatest techno you will hear out of one artist! But with all that knowledge in music production, mau5trap records was only the beginning step to a stairway to great success!
One of his first releases on a new label eekkoo takes ANNA‘s Drum Machines Do Have Soul from Turbo Recording and gives it a darker sound with chopped vocals, downdriving basslines and analog synths. With original mix the Killing, eekkoo keeps the techno on the uptempo side with claps, hihats and choppy vocals. This hypnotizing dance track is out for a free download, sort of a courtesy.
Most recently, eekkoo has made another remix. This time he joins Anjunadeep family for this release. On the 23th of October Lane 8 released a remix album of his house track Undercover featuring Matthew Dear. Including a few deep house tracks remixes by Wankelmut and Yotto, eekkoo’s techno rendition stuck out the most.

Claptone, a mythical being as describe in his profiles, is quite the producer. He is too familiar with making hit tracks that reach beatports top 10 charts. Claptone received a lot of recognition in 2012 after his hit track Cream reached the top of beatport charts. Now #5 on the deep house charts is his remix of Long Days, Hot Nights by Sirens of Lesbos, which first premiered on Annie Macs BBC Radio 1 show.
Needless to say Claptone has a good ear. That good ear got him far with his ambition for creating lucid music, enabling him to reach a milestone; Reaching a strong fan base of 100,000 people on facebook. In celebration and thanks for all the support, Claptone does his fan base a solid and releases a crunchy deep house tune, Ladies & Gentlemen, for free. A real vibrant and groovy track with a nice ol’ school house feel to it.
Jauz has been on a roll lately pumping out marvelous remixes. From pop artist Ed Sheeran to Childish Gambino, the man also known as Sam Vogal can turn any tune into a hard hitting future house trap fusion.
For these next couple remixes he goes after SCNDL‘s The Munsta, turning the melbourne bounce track into a trap house fusion. Starting out with the original melody and transforming it into a fine bassline hook, then slowing it down to add some high hats and a nice beat pattern to give it a trap feel to bob your head too. Then he attacks A$AP Mob, turning Hellah Hoes into a house party anthem. Keeping most of A$AP Twelvyy and Rocky‘s lines and of course Nast‘s hook, then pumping it with hard hittin bassline synths. Add this to your set to make any party go wild. But you will have to download if for free first!
His genre defying music is always turning heads at every corner. His musical creativity, unmatched. Matan Zohar, other wise known as Mat Zo, is truly an independent and innovative artist in the world of dance music. Recently Mat Zo conjured up his own record label Mad Zoo joining the rank of independent record label owner with artists like Diplo (Mad Decent), Deadmau5 (Mau5trap), A-Trak (Fools-Gold), Skrillex (Owsla) and others alike.
With no hesitation Mat Zo released his first EP Up, Down, Left, Right under his label, not wasting any time. The EP contains two tracks varying in genre. The first track Get Down 2 Get Up is a house collaboration with the Knocks that has a nice electro-funk that will have you sayin God Damn God damn! while you groove on the dance floor. Left To Right is a breaks solo storm, with harsh electro bass synth bursts and claps that will slap you right to left. Starting with a dark but energetic beat then properly smoothing into an uplifting airy breaks track. This 2 track EP has got it all.
Then from house to breaks Mat Zo has another track up his sleeve and this time he is set to wow the world of dubstep. I see MONSTAS track Circles gets a complete make over from blissful drum and bass to in your face hard dubstep. Something you would not expect from Mat Zo but it was only a matter of time before he reached all spectrums of sound. This remix starts slow but before you know it you are hit with pounding chopped up bass and vocals. In between drops you get a break of nice vocalization and melody but before you can catch your breath Zo strikes again and then he ends it smoothly. So much energy in a quick 4:33 time lapse.
Australian duo Julian Hamilton and Kim Moyes, better known as the Presets, has released a remix EP of their hit song No Fun. The EP includes artists RÜFÜS, Lancelot, Eekkoo, Phile Kieren & Wax Wings. They have now included Golden Features in the bunch with this deep house remix that echoes in your head. Stripping the original song of its airy electronic synths and replacing them with a dark eerie bassline, consistent with Golden’s style.
Not really much is known about this anonymous entity known as Golden Features other than his music and his badass faceless gold mask. He did however reveal himself to be Australian producer Tom Stell in an interview with Thump for his self titled EP. But Tom is more about the art of his music rather than his identity and his work shows it; Recently releasing a music video for his track Tell Me ft. Nicole Millar and going on tours at venues and festivals.
Through social media we get to know more about Golden Features and his influences. Being quite excited his remix of No Fun got the golden stamp of approval by the Presets, Golden says they are “basically the reason he got into electronic music”. From jumping into festivals to see the Presets during the “last of his underage years” to making a remix approved by them is something a fan can only dream of. Few are ambitious enough to make that dream a reality!
Premiering on Billboard, Amtrac‘s remix of Cheap Sunglasses ft. Mathew Koma will be one of many off of RAC‘s Cheap Sunglasses remix EP. The EP, out on September 13th, will include remixes by Le Youth, the Knocks, Shadowluxx and Amtrac himself. Amtrac’s take on the track gives a new and uplifting vibe and Anjo’s, the Portugal producer of RAC, is very pleased with the outcome saying “He took it to a totally different place and I couldn’t be happier”
Check out the remix below and follow Amtrac on soundcloud.
