Win and Woo With A Zedd Remix And A Couple Loosies!

Win and Woo have released a few new tracks showing off their diverse music pallet. The Chicago electronic music duo typically experiment with their sound, offering their fans a mixed playlist! Their latest being a remix of INSIDE OUT, featuring Griff, by Zedd, an original mix with Łaszewo titled ANOTHER TIME AROUND, and a VIP of an earlier release of BEAM ME UP with Cosmos & Creature. Each track varies between electronic genres but Win and Woo balance it well to their own familiar sound, giving almost a bit of everything for the open mind.

Their most recent being their ZEDD remix where the original touches on pop hip hop beat work intro into electro house, Win and Woo turns it into a drum and bass dance track. A bit more fast paced beatwork lead by a progressive buildup, and ANOTHER TIME AROUND keeps that trance-like energy on the intro and buildup as well, coupled with vocals, before it gives way to a dark down tempo bass line. Their earliest tracks and most significant turn around in terms of sound is their BEAM ME UP VIP, which is originally a tropical-electro reggae styled beat and vocals, turning the feel good tune into an uplifting future bass mix for a dance floor. Lots of different sounds to experiment but thats how Win and Woo keep it fresh!

Stratus New Music Brings Shivers To The Spine

This lowkey legend has been hangin’ around Chicago’s electronic music community for quite some time, producing music for over a decade! Having been more experimental and ambient at the start, the sounds and heaviness of drum & bass and dubstep ultimately took over. Having a playlist of about one hundred songs over many genres, if not more, the quality and intent in his music is undeniable. Stratus done it all from house music, trap, drum and bass, moombahton and more, he can rock whatever he puts his mind to. He continues to add to that with a the release of an EP and single to follow!

Coming to bass music, he got it mastered to a point where he gets the stamp of approval from OG’s like Doctor P, ’nuff said. His latest releases are no exceptions to the rule, packed full of bass and climactic synths, Stratus balances the highs and lows, not overdoing anything in between. His most recent track SHIVERS, a free download, takes you on a ride with ambient and melodic buildups that give way to some heavy chops. This track follows his EP EVERYTHING GOES BLACK, and if you cannot tell from the title, there is significantly less ambiance, and more in your face, heavy energy. You get straight gritty dubstep, AMUSIA gets dirty on a dance beat, and it is all topped off with ONLY NOW; some familiar lyrics giving way to a melodic bassline. Stratus hits the nail on the head with these new releases.

RAAKMO Turns Day To Night with these Remixes

Claiming to have the “Hardest Music in Chicago”, we would like to see anyone step up to the plate. You cannot go harder than Hardstyle, and RAAKMO is credited with some the best to come out of the city. Invited to some of the most wild parties such as Porn and Chicken Monday Night Dance Party, why? Just take a listen to his recent series of remixes.

Now RAAKMO typically leans towards Hardstyle but what makes any good artist is to blend style and make your own. His Rich Chigga remix has a trap bass foundation to it but you can clearly hear his hardstyle influence.  Just as well with his Turn Day Turn Night remix with VOVIII.  RAAKMO has an interesting Hardstyle infused trap formula and it works well with his collaborators. With Keku however they two stuck to hardstyle with they remix of Chupacabra by Carnage.
