Agent O has been on replay in our playlist with his latest remix! Coming across this Chicago electronic music artist through local channels, and his sound is instantly intoxicating. Taking aim at a Chomppa tune called DEVIL DANCE, a tune reminiscent to RENEGADE by Mustard Pimp. Agent O perfectly balances the manic high end sounds with a dirty bassline that you cant help but move your body to. A perfect tune for an end of the year playlist to get a party jumpin’.
Saladin is on fire with not 2 but 4 releases just in a month, but to no surprise, his output is consistent! Always keeping it fresh, Saladin easily wins a #1 spot on Beatports bass house charts mid November, and his answer to that was more music! The song of notoriety aforementioned was dubbed ANTHEM and got you moving to a bass house vibe, was supported by prominemt names like Don Diablo, Hardwell, Showtek & more! Following up would be two collaborations with DeLain and another hot original single!
When Saladin and DeLain get connected they create some G House and Tech beats. Shortly after ANTHEM, the two release KEEP UM, a personal favorite just for its hypnotizing sound, and most recently YA KNOW, which is on a whole different spectrum of energy. Mixing G House, Bass House with a heavy Hip Hop influence, YA KNOW can get anyone moving. Finally we have NEVER STOP, which was released in between the DeLain collabs, Saladin kept it straight bass all the way through. Solid additions to an end of the year party playlist
Flosstradamus, A legendary name to Chicago, and for good reason! Helping bring edm and trap bass to mainstream popularity with remixes like ORIGINAL DON by Diplo in 2012, with former member Josh Young AKAYehMe2. Floss is back with an original release following a collab with Post Malone, Key, Fki1st and graves earlier this year. Simplifying this recent collaboration to one artist, Nonsens, for an upbeat hit for the summer named SO FAR. Kicking it off with a dnb styled intro, chopping up a vocal loop, into a body of bass and alarming synths to wild out to. The piano break in between keeps the uplifting energy going on this dance worthy beat!
This lowkey legend has been hangin’ around Chicago’s electronic music community for quite some time, producing music for over a decade! Having been more experimental and ambient at the start, the sounds and heaviness of drum & bass and dubstep ultimately took over. Having a playlist of about one hundred songs over many genres, if not more, the quality and intent in his music is undeniable. Stratus done it all from house music, trap, drum and bass, moombahton and more, he can rock whatever he puts his mind to. He continues to add to that with a the release of an EP and single to follow!
Coming to bass music, he got it mastered to a point where he gets the stamp of approval from OG’s like Doctor P, ’nuff said. His latest releases are no exceptions to the rule, packed full of bass and climactic synths, Stratus balances the highs and lows, not overdoing anything in between. His most recent track SHIVERS, a free download, takes you on a ride with ambient and melodic buildups that give way to some heavy chops. This track follows his EP EVERYTHING GOES BLACK, and if you cannot tell from the title, there is significantly less ambiance, and more in your face, heavy energy. You get straight gritty dubstep, AMUSIA gets dirty on a dance beat, and it is all topped off with ONLY NOW; some familiar lyrics giving way to a melodic bassline. Stratus hits the nail on the head with these new releases.
Ayoo continues with their growth and experimentation with their sound and we are all here for it. We even got a closer idea of who their influences are for their music and sound in an interview with By The Wavs. Both Brothers naming mutiple artists, specific to no genre. From Dr. Fresch, Dom Dolla, AC Slater, Kid Cudi, Bone Thugs, Syn, Habstrakt, Excision and more, you can see why AYOO’s sound seems to be ever changing.
Recently releasing a huge collaboration piece dubbed FREAK OUT, and with a name quite commonly known in the Dubstep community. Rico Act performed and collaborated with acts such as Snails, DirtySnatcha, Sullivan King, Spag Heddy to name a few, and now Chicago’s very own AYOO works with the titan, as Benasis did a couple years earlier. Now this tracks name is to be taken seriously, because the three of them blended hip hop, and mid tempo bass to perfection. AYOO is no stranger to adding hip hop influence or vocals to their records, in fact you can hear the influence in all of their original tracks. This follows their remix of THE WAVE by WOLFBITER, and as you can see, another switch up in style as AYOO get bolder with their sound, what and who they work with.
Consistenly bouncing back and forth between his old and new style of dance music, Kaskade has the ear to satisfy just about anyone. Following his REDUX 003 DELUXE release, the Chicago native is back with a deep house beat. Teaming up with Lipless, MY LIGHT starts dark in tone with feminine vocals, brandishing “You are my light” into your head, up the the climax. The main body of the track is a gentle but dark bassline humming under melodic synth work, giving off a very sensual and mysterious energy!
There are not much milestones like the first and for an artist they can be significant. This month DJ Heily B hits a big one as he debuts his first ep. Not out of no where however, Heily B has been working on single releases for the longer end of the year, practicing, getting better and more creative each time. More known as an electronic dance music DJ, spinning for events and venues around Chicago and event a couple of times for Ever Evolved events as well, Heily B has picked up producing along the way.
From his first release BREAD BOWL to ELECTRONIC DANCING MUSIC EP, there is quite a difference that can represent his growth as a producer, but the quality was present from the start. The EP itself is a quick 4 song package packed with energy reaching into diverse genres. Heily never seemed to stick with a single genre from the start and from beginning to end the EDM EP takes you on a audio trip. From the future bass track FORGET A DAY bearing feminine vocals, the hispanic lingo over a dubstep beat in DIVIDE, to the bass and riddim style ending out the EP. Heily B really puts Respect on his name with this release. If you missed his ep release party at The Auxillary Art Center, press play and live through it vicariously.
If you want to make EDM and dance music more dance-able, just add Spanish! Often choosing Latin influenced artists to remix, Narkalix seems to have his own formula to a perfect moombahton style beat. Bouncing between a hardstyle bpm and raggaeton, he releases two originals you cannot help but to move to. As the name will literally tell you Mueve Ese Culo and his earlier release Dame Un Besos will just get you hot on a dance floor! A talented DJ and Producer bringing out some of Chicagos different culture as well as the motivation to move that ass. Add Narkalix to your playlist to turn up any situition.
Goodsex is just here to show you how good you already are and it shows! Aside from all the great puns that you and I both have running through our minds, it is important to realize the power of music and the message it can send to its listeners. This Chicago duo takes that idea an extra mile sending positive messages and high vibes to their fans in each song they put out. From their originals to their remixes, all their songs do is make you believe in love!
Their latest project comes to fruition after a simple request of their fans. From their EP With Friends Vol. 1 the duo has a song called Joy and they ask their audience to send in footage of themselves enjoying life! The end result is a music video compilation of people having the time of their lives and you just cannot help but wiggle around and smile at the expression of life and love. This follows a remix collaboration ofBirthday Sex with another familiar Chicago duo Birthdayy Partyy and a remake of a classic funk pop song Reach Out Of The Darkness by Friend & Lover. Their cycle of feel good lyrics and tunes makes a great playlist for people to get together and we think that’s So Groovy. It is most admirable creating a lifestyle through music that makes others feel good regardless of who they are.
If you were Satisfied with Win & Woo thus far their latest releases will have you obsessed and dancing. Their sound continues to grow and evolve and they let their fans know that they have plenty of new tracks well and ready. The duo Foreshadows them to be amongst their favorite releases yet to be heard! With an already productive new year, hitting venues across Texas, California, Colorado, selling out Chicago twice, some of you may have already had the pleasure of hearing some unreleased music.
Starting out with Tea Time, this track is a fun and energetic beat released as a thank you for the fan support throughout 2018. A bouncy electro house track to keep a dancefloor goin strong. Afterwards they release Right In Front Of Me, an emotionally captivating song, filled piano chords, soothing melody and comforting vocals. Collaborating with Kaleena Zanders to provide lyrics denoting that whatever you are looking at for is right in front of you once you embrace a world full of chaos. Still hot off her collab piece Before I Go, Kaleena is the perfect voice for this future house beat by Win and Woo. This tune will have you singing out loud and playing on repeat.

RhymSter
RhymSter
Julian Rodriguez, aka RhymSter, was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. The interest to take on music didnt catch on until he graduated high school in 2010. Looking back on his past, he realized that all his life his family had exposed him to different genres of music such as 80s-90s Hip Hop, Jazz, Rock, Oldies, Soul, House, R&B, & various types of Spanish music. In a way, he was already preparing himself for what was to come.
Julian was a solo artist for some years building his skills and relationship with fellow partners/producers Frekwenzy & GridLockAndy. After some time Julian linked with William Bolanos, Founder of Ever Evolved, to establish a vision that both of them shared musically and creatively. During the time of building the company Julian expanded his creativity into production as well as taking on the business side of Ever Evolved. A jack of all trades is what you can call him.
William Bolanos
EverEvolved Owner
Born and raised in Chicago, Il. I started EverEvolved as a music blog to promote conscious creative music from Chicago. Throughout my life i have been entertained by music of all genres. Music is my one consistent love and seeing it promoted in mainstream television networks in such negative and lazy form, i decided to take matters into my own hands. Making it a mission to open minds to the underground and artists who create original music out of passion rather than greed.
Working along side Rhymster and Frekwenzy at Fort Knox Studios, we quickly transformed EverEvolved into a music studio, event and promotion company. With this platform we not only promote music, we create it and bring it to an audience directly. Hoping to inspire and bring talented individuals together. We aim to create a future of music with class, soul and original style.
Frekwenzy
My name is Ken and I am an engineer/ producer/ and graphic designer out of EverEvolved Studios located near Montrose Blue Line train station in Chicago, IL.
I specialize in EDM and trap based production. I tend to enjoy creating beats from scratch with the people I work with just because I believe in the artistry. It’s always fun to create something organic from scratch. What usually happens in one of my sessions is I would start working on a beat with a lyricist and we would bounce off ideas and give each other critiques.

I started gaining an interest in music from a young age. Eventually taking guitar lessons when I was in 6th and 7th grade. Then later into highschool I was musically involved with some friends in a band for a while which just brought me closer and closer to music. Which ultimately lead to me picking up Ableton which completely changed my outlook on music altogether.
As far as to why I do it….well it’s just a part of me. Sitting down to compose and edit music always gives me a really calming rush. Especially knowing that I came from dreaming about as a kid to being here right now.
