Agent O has been on replay in our playlist with his latest remix! Coming across this Chicago electronic music artist through local channels, and his sound is instantly intoxicating. Taking aim at a Chomppa tune called DEVIL DANCE, a tune reminiscent to RENEGADE by Mustard Pimp. Agent O perfectly balances the manic high end sounds with a dirty bassline that you cant help but move your body to. A perfect tune for an end of the year playlist to get a party jumpin’.
Saladin is on fire with not 2 but 4 releases just in a month, but to no surprise, his output is consistent! Always keeping it fresh, Saladin easily wins a #1 spot on Beatports bass house charts mid November, and his answer to that was more music! The song of notoriety aforementioned was dubbed ANTHEM and got you moving to a bass house vibe, was supported by prominemt names like Don Diablo, Hardwell, Showtek & more! Following up would be two collaborations with DeLain and another hot original single!
When Saladin and DeLain get connected they create some G House and Tech beats. Shortly after ANTHEM, the two release KEEP UM, a personal favorite just for its hypnotizing sound, and most recently YA KNOW, which is on a whole different spectrum of energy. Mixing G House, Bass House with a heavy Hip Hop influence, YA KNOW can get anyone moving. Finally we have NEVER STOP, which was released in between the DeLain collabs, Saladin kept it straight bass all the way through. Solid additions to an end of the year party playlist
Black culture is a dominating foundation to many aspects of social culture and style. If you are an avid lover of house music, especially in Chicago, it is important to know that it evolved from disco, in gay, black clubs and communities, inspiring techno in Detroit. In a day and age where tensions are high, between a growing authoritarian police state in America and the public, particularly taking advantage of minority communities, Louis The Child, in the best way they know they can, releases a mix exclusive to black artists, to the tens of thousands of fans that follow them. Continuing their motto of music that makes you happy.
This mix contains a variety of genres of original mixes and remixes from house to hip hop and R&B. Hearing music from artists like Chicago’s own Green Velvet, Mick Jenkins, Joey Purp, Kanye West and Vic Mensa, they also add in iconic names like the late Bill Withers, Stevie Wonder, A Tribe Called Quest, B.I.G., Wu-Tang and more. Being electronic music artist from Chicago, it only makes sense to pay homage to Chicago locals especially to its history. Without this evolution of disco in black communities, EDM as we know it could be drastically different, if in existence at all, for all we know.
This mix follows up on their usual flow of ridiculously catchy anthemic tracks and party tunes; Louis the Child does not seem to have an off switch. In their most recent remix, they chose upon Rich the Kid with a Kendrick Lamar feature by the name of NEW FREEZER from 2017. Completely flipping the beat up into wild, bass bumping, house track, that switches up dramatically with that classic Louis the Child, chopped up synth and hip hop beat pattern. They did not have to get that crazy but they made it their business! This follows up an original beat, NOBODY LIKE YOU, another vocal, pop, dance tune perfected by the voice of Vera Blue. If there is an off switch to Louis the Child hiding anywhere, let it be hidden; after hearing collaborations with Foster the People, this Chicago duo is unstoppable!
Consistenly bouncing back and forth between his old and new style of dance music, Kaskade has the ear to satisfy just about anyone. Following his REDUX 003 DELUXE release, the Chicago native is back with a deep house beat. Teaming up with Lipless, MY LIGHT starts dark in tone with feminine vocals, brandishing “You are my light” into your head, up the the climax. The main body of the track is a gentle but dark bassline humming under melodic synth work, giving off a very sensual and mysterious energy!
Having released REDUX 003 early in the summer, Kaskade comes back with a little surprise. With the EP already being jam packed with 18 songs, Kaskade adds 5 more to the package of the already diverse playlist. REDUX 003 DELUXE adds on three more exclusive originals and two remixes, ranging from bass house, deep house, future bass and down-tempo influenced styles. With Diplo & LöKii jumping on the project these exclusive tracks are a do doubt must have in your playlist for a good dance party.
It is not untrue, Love does often have us running around in circles; what is uncertain is the outcome. With a new release Win & Woo go over these woes in HERE U R. “This is not the way that loves supposed to be, a broken record on repeat“, sings Sara Skinner about hopeful feelings in a doubtful situation. Really about going through the emotions in that kind of scenario, the Chicago producers add an uplifting deep house bass line to keep you dancing away from any of those kinds of doubts and negativity. Following the even more uplifting RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME, TEA TIME and a couple of impressive remixes, HERE U R is a wonderful addition to their playlist and yours.
What is love without the pain? Some will believe you cannot have the good with out the bad. For Autograf the good & the bad is what Love & Retrograde comprises of; the highs and their lows of their last couple of years. You can even hear it literally as you go through dark low bass lines and high end synths and vocals between songs.
Starting the EP off with Test the Waters, a down tempo beat setting a heavy tone. In between these hypnotic instrumental breaks echoes, “Go out and Test the Waters the tide will drag you deeper than you know“, like a test of will of some kind. What will come of this darkness and confusion? The EP then jumps into Retrograde, tunneling through minimal bass sounds, giving some life with these bassline grooves, a strong positive transformation!
Getting your energy ready the Casual Love, this track breathes life into Love & Retrograde, a hopeful sound to bounce around to and chant along with. “I’m looking for people of a like mind… I’m looking for love of a casual kind“; another house anthem for Autograf. They Then get funky with Hold Me Back, giving the right attitude for living singing, “the corners no place for me babe“. Turning this EP on its head from dark to energetic sounds with strong notes, Love & Retrograde really paints a story from start to finish.
Letting their fans know it represents growth for them musically and personally, paying close attention you can hear and feel that in this EP. From the dark, minimal sounds and the doubtful lyrics in the beginning with, to vivacious house beats and groovy tunes with strong affirmations. Autograf ends it strong with Night Drive, a mix of high vibes and low techno basslines. Love & Retrograde is the perfect title for the project for what it represents.
Getting lost in music is easy with Option4, his music can take you on a journey or tell you a story. Even literally with his Nest HQ releases a little over a year ago depicting drug lords and legalization of marijuana in his home city Denver, CO. From start to finish To Be Your Baby takes you on an audio adventure, slowly layering on eerie hypnotic sounds that build up to deep basslines and a bouncing beat. Working together with Kid Astronaut on this track this collaboration follows his work with Treasure Fingers and Worthy.
I was wondering when the world was going to get the Christmas album it deserved. It was about time someone took the title away from Mariah Carey and leave it to a Chicago native to get the job done right. Kaskade brought back to life Christmas tradition with this album and added the sound and energy of modern day culture. Nobody could have pulled this off better.
A Billion Young comes back with a new track that shows a switch up in style. Experimenting with some house music foreshadowing their upcoming album Us. Only proper to dabble in house genres being apart of Chicago. Strawberry Satin would follow a few hip hop, foot work and juke remixes and releases and compilations. Their last mixtape Flwr which included popular locals like Sylvie Grace, Rich Jones, Jac Stovley and John Mcdonnell hit nearly 100k plays on Soundcloud. will be interesting to see what they got coming up next.

RhymSter
RhymSter
Julian Rodriguez, aka RhymSter, was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. The interest to take on music didnt catch on until he graduated high school in 2010. Looking back on his past, he realized that all his life his family had exposed him to different genres of music such as 80s-90s Hip Hop, Jazz, Rock, Oldies, Soul, House, R&B, & various types of Spanish music. In a way, he was already preparing himself for what was to come.
Julian was a solo artist for some years building his skills and relationship with fellow partners/producers Frekwenzy & GridLockAndy. After some time Julian linked with William Bolanos, Founder of Ever Evolved, to establish a vision that both of them shared musically and creatively. During the time of building the company Julian expanded his creativity into production as well as taking on the business side of Ever Evolved. A jack of all trades is what you can call him.
William Bolanos
EverEvolved Owner
Born and raised in Chicago, Il. I started EverEvolved as a music blog to promote conscious creative music from Chicago. Throughout my life i have been entertained by music of all genres. Music is my one consistent love and seeing it promoted in mainstream television networks in such negative and lazy form, i decided to take matters into my own hands. Making it a mission to open minds to the underground and artists who create original music out of passion rather than greed.
Working along side Rhymster and Frekwenzy at Fort Knox Studios, we quickly transformed EverEvolved into a music studio, event and promotion company. With this platform we not only promote music, we create it and bring it to an audience directly. Hoping to inspire and bring talented individuals together. We aim to create a future of music with class, soul and original style.
Frekwenzy
My name is Ken and I am an engineer/ producer/ and graphic designer out of EverEvolved Studios located near Montrose Blue Line train station in Chicago, IL.
I specialize in EDM and trap based production. I tend to enjoy creating beats from scratch with the people I work with just because I believe in the artistry. It’s always fun to create something organic from scratch. What usually happens in one of my sessions is I would start working on a beat with a lyricist and we would bounce off ideas and give each other critiques.

I started gaining an interest in music from a young age. Eventually taking guitar lessons when I was in 6th and 7th grade. Then later into highschool I was musically involved with some friends in a band for a while which just brought me closer and closer to music. Which ultimately lead to me picking up Ableton which completely changed my outlook on music altogether.
As far as to why I do it….well it’s just a part of me. Sitting down to compose and edit music always gives me a really calming rush. Especially knowing that I came from dreaming about as a kid to being here right now.
