Following his Nest HQ series of releases Option4 kept his brand of tech house alive through podcast sessions with notable names like Prima Lux, Sin Label, The Barber Shop and Caveman Sounds. In between broadcasts his single Big Bang was born. Following, His label Hot Boi Records celebrates its first release. A productive year for the long time Chicago patron.
Coming up on a big collab Option4 gets to Workin with the one and only Worthy with the help of Leela D. on vocals. His most recent work this time collaborating with Treasure Fingers is a disco and tech house so groovy it will have you workin that body all night and day, another track under the Nevous inc. label from New York. This Denver Producer will be popping in and out of cities on tour so catch, do not miss these beats when they roll through your city!
After a some silence we have gotten some audio from the tech house virtuoso. With a few edits here and there after Sloans Dress and collab work, eekkoo releases Just days apart a remix and a new original. We are first greeted with the original piece Cleopatra, filled with beautiful melody like the snake mistress’s gaze sucking you in to dark bassline as cold as stone. Following that, a remix for the techno cats pouncing the dance floors with Hanover by Jeremy Olander, with a playful melody and bass that purrs. Doing justice for the original track. Eekkoo seems to be picking up some activity with podcasts and the recent work, cannot wait to see what else he has coming up.

As Autograf sets off on their latest tour with Goldroom after much preparation from their visual setup to their setlist, they continue documenting themselves on their touring experience. To top off the start of their tour they grab straight from their playlist Future Sauce, releasing this ingredient from the tour for their audience at home to enjoy. This Sauce put you on a balance of ambient and night bass vibes with a harmonious piano prelude and a heavy bassline to top it off. A turn from their previous track Don’t Worry, adding variety and energy to their playlist.
“Qandisa is a Moroccan goddess of love and lust. And that’s dichotomous. By definition in dichotomy everything in two subsets must belong to one part or the other and at the same time nothing can belong simultaneously to both parts. That should be the case with love and lust. In love there’s got to be lust, while lust itself can exist without love.”
A beautiful description of the title EP Dichotomy by Umek. Just two tracks to add to your playlist, the title track and Qandisa, the goddess. But every bit is ever so addicting. Umek is truly a King among Techno house artists if there is not one already. One that treats his fans nicely. All over 2 million of them get a nice preview for Christmas of his upcoming track Console Generation.
This is my new track – coming soon on 1605 – MUSIC THERAPY! Maybe you'll hear it tonight in Ambasada Gavioli.
Letkolben is making a return with a couple recent remixes up on his soundcloud. From Nürnberg, Berlin this artist has a unique twist on techno and deep house. Adding a lot of tribal sounds and instruments his tracks really put you into an animalistic vibe. With seemingly endless amounts of originals and remixes on his soundcloud Giovanni Molinaro and on a separate remix Nic Bax, fellow techno house producers, were in the scope of this artist this time. With Letkolben’s most recent original released earlier in the year, hopefully these new remixes foreshadow an new release!
The magnificent and mysterious eekkoo has produced yet another powerful production in deep house and techno after releasing a handful of remixes and collabs. Not straying away from his moody personality in his music, he creates some downright heavy basslines with grooves unheard of with Sloan’s Dress. To really set the mood of the track we grabbed the video clip from eekkoo’s facebook profile with the main bassline over some hollow synths to preview before you take on the full track.
New Music! Tune into Pomo on Majestic Casual's Beats 1 show tomorrow at 2pm EST to hear the WORLD PREMIERE of my track "Long Nights" ft. me on the vocals – Part of the "Lost In Motion" EP coming in January!!
Caleb Cornett AKA Amtrac takes to facebook to tease his fans with new music from his upcoming Lost In Motion EP. Releasing Darkest Sound onto soundcloud, the first peak at his new project, served as a prelude of previews. Tuning into Pomo on Majestic Casual’s Beats 1 Dec. 12th show gave you the opportunity to listen in on another track from the new EP. Long Nights, previewed shortly above, features Amtrac himself on vocals and promises to be nothing short of amazing.
Speaking of amazing tracks, Amtrac is not only working on his EP, he is also remixing music by amazing artists. Establishing his name as a versatile producer and remix artist. Recently Caleb connect with Doe Paoro, who was open to having her pop track Nostalgia remixed. Turning the track into a moody deep house, Caleb left the artists lyrics in the entrance to set the tone for the rest of the track. Ending on uplifting synth work truely making for a nostalgic feel.
Finally we have this. Nero, after a hiatus, awes the world with their return from the studio emerging with Satisfy, followed by their full album Between II Worlds. A project meant to be a real collaboration of mind and talent of the trio rather than short lived hyped material. In comes Amtrac to deconstruct the tune and give it the energy for the club floor. With vocals from Neros vocalist Alana Watson echoing through out, the synths an percussion carry this tune with trance like atmosphere. All this new music from Amtrac is what keeps us going till the full EP is released!
Chet Faker is one of the many talented artists coming out of Australia. Winner of 5 awards at Aria awards 2014 including best male artist, Best Independent Album and the likes, Chet writes, produces and records his own music. A talent worth note. His music features on Future Classic and they been sharing around some recent work and collabs.
Marcus Marr has come out of studio hybernation reversed, when it starts getting cold out, with the help of Chet Faker. The two artists are working on a collaborative project Work, releasing Trouble With Us and Birthday Card as a little taste. The EP is set to be released on December 4th. Since Marr’s last project Brown Sauce released over a year ago he has been touring, doing gigs here and there like episodes at the Boiler Room. Has not lost touch as you can hear with these two tracks, deep house and techno done right.
The mysterious yet eloquent masqueraded figure known as Claptone releases his LP full of funky techno and deep house tracks recently and does it proper. There is always a very smooth balance between old school house music and contemporary. But when he drops those basslines its over. You will not stop wigglin.
Each song gets progressively better as it goes back and forth between highs and lows. As you get a feel of the album, your soul starts to feel it by the time Heartbeat kicks in with the smooth vocals of Nathan Nicholson. Building energy with Peter, Björn and John on vocals in Puppet Theatre into the groovy Leave Your Light with Young Galaxy. Claptone has picked some unique talent for this album, they work perfectly and there is a bunch more down the tracklist. Jaw, Jay Jay Johnson, Jimi Tenor, Bavanandan to name a few. Yea by the 13th track you will have fallen in love with this, Charmer LP.
Big things in line for Caleb Cornett‘s music career. Also known as Amtrac, the artist has a lot planned for himself and his fans! He just embarked on his first Headlining tour with Hotel Garuda. You know what that means, as a headline Amtrac can produce live to his fullest potential knowing people come specifically for him and his talents. Lucky us as well, Chicago has a tour date for February 18th at theMid. You can check out his facebook for tour dates near you!
Coming as a double whammy announcement, along with his first headlining tour Amtrac releases Darkest Sound. A deep bassline and harmonious synths leading to vocals to start off the first track of Amtrac’s up and coming EP for 2016, Lost In Motion. Hearing this track I can only imagine what unreleased goodies he will be playing on tour that he has not already played during tours with Gorgon City. Amongst the many tracks he has on his playlist already. Have you seen his soundcloud lately?
Caleb has been puttin in some real work in the studio. From remixes to collabs to originals, he has been creating some addicting hip shakin tunes. Lover, released just over two weeks ago, is already at 88k views. Elev8, a collab with notable house artist Alex Metrix, released on OWSLA/Big Beat Records will have you lost in a trance. Finally a remix of Get Your Love by Leo Kalyan will sober you up with deep lyrics and hypnotic bassline that keeps your hips swingin. These are only a few of the tracks Amtrac has released within the last month and a half, give or take. There is 3 singles on Toolroom Records and a piano remix of Kaskade’s Disarm You ft. Ilsey that you are waitin for your listen on soundcloud. Do not snooze on Amtracs sound!
