Solstis is back with new music for Chicago and fans abroad. This time they pull out an original from their playlist. Up until now this past year the duo have been releasing remixes for artists like Luna Shadows and Autolaser w/ PLS&TY and a throwback with Nelly Furtado. This release also makes their first original track with an independent singer/ songwriter. Ally Ahern and Solstis compliment eachothers flow and style with Take Me they just created an instant with ease. With this release a new release maybe a full project can be on its way we will have to see!
Nelly Furtado, a pop icon in mid 2000’s has many hits rolling off the tongues of reminiscent fans till this day. Put her songs on a throwback playlist and you will set off any party. As many other artists have, Solstis take a shot at remixing Say It Right and they revive it. Beautifully adding synths smoothly over a bass line without drawing too much away from the original melody.
An uplifting beat following their remix of Cry Wolf by Luna Shadows and a move to Seattle from their hometown Chicago. In the wake of a decision to commit to music the duo are following up with an EP soon to come. A 9to5 can be very distracting. Meanwhile you can sit back relax and dance to this.
Doin it just for fun Solstis pulls out another remix from their new music playlist. SANDS joins the Chicago duo to add his creative touch. Together they create a vibrant future bass track from the original pop tune Cry Wolf by Luna Shadows. This follows their Hiding From The Rain remix in the fall and festival tour schedule. Looking into 2017 they plan on releasing much more new music and hit much more cities nationwide. SANDS looks to have a strong foundation being one half of Blind Prism. Watch out for the up and coming artists in the next year and enjoy this remix for free!
Released a in April, Autolaser & PLS&TY produced Hiding From The Rain with MARØ on Trap Nation that quickly gained popularity. The combination of MARØ’s vocals and beat and synth patterns drove everyone wild. Trap Nation thought it is so good they said hey it could use a remix. In comes an 18 artist remix ep released in July featuring Chicago’s own Solstis amongst producers like WildeFire, Frankie Sanchez, Maliboux, NINE LIVES, Indiginous and KNAME. Stripping down HDTR, they add their own future bass ingredients, remake a more ambient intro over cinematic drumming that leads into a bass heavy drop. A great addition to their playlist as their tour in between festivals and shows. Do not miss out on this free download!
