Feels Like OddCouple Has More Music

Been a little over a year since OddCouple, Zach Henderson released his Liberation, To celebrate he curated a show in honor of the project filled with some of Chicago’s best creatives. Henderson has been enjoying a run of shows following the release from Summerfest 4cast to theMID AuxChord DJ‘s to p4k afters and Northerly Island. Back with  more shows following the anniversary in Chicago and LA we can catch him in January in the City, enjoying that liberated life.

See The Sun sheds light on your playlist with some smooth quality instrumental and most recently Feels Like takes over with Jack Red flowin over the beat. A little different direction from the Sun as Henderson switches up styles naturally. Henderson also released a mix of songs after Goonin around on soundcloud that he calls IL!ke2dnc, because he likes to dance. Hopefully all this activity follows up more dope music cause that it Feels Like!

oddCouple Reaches New Heights

Since the release of his LP Liberation oddCouple has been noted just about everywhere, though the producer has been making beats for quite some time in Chicago. Moving in locally to attend DePaul University in ’07, where he found himself acquainted with Chance the Rapper and his manger, he continued to fill his beat library.

For the producer also known as Zach Henderson however the rise has not been as glorifying as his current success. Dealing with parting ways with his original partner amongst other heavy losses within his life, Henderson found himself at a difficult crossroads between his passoin for music and the dreary 9-5. But a push to complete his first LP Chatterbox was made well worthy as a call from Closed Sessions before finishing the project turned his luck around.

Since then oddCouple worked with some of Chicago’s most popular. Jamila Woods, Mick Jenkins, Joey Purp, Chance the Rapper, Rich Jones & Kweku Collins to name just a few have all put in work with Henderson. Fast forward to 2017 today and this rising artist is enjoying the fruits of his labor. Recently coming out of a festival he curated with Summerfest in his hometown Milwaukee, theMID with Aux Cord DJ Sessions and Pitchfork after parties, oddCouple also humbly releases a single See The Sun. Reflecting on the light after a Liberation. Looking forward to see what he has planned next.

Get Liberated with the new oddCouple LP

oddCouple pulled off a beast of an album. End to end filled with rising Chicago artist. We have Kweku Collins featuring. Jamila Woods adds a piece of her soul to it. Mick Jenkins makes a show and of course gotta have Joey Purp, Mike Golden in on the fun amongst many others. Right off the bat you get hooked on Slept on. Its Golden that gets you with the chorus but its that sax that makes you stay. The soulful vibes continue throughout the album finishing off with a instrumental. A beautiful way to kill time if you ask me
