Getting deep into the cold months for Chicago but Autograf turns up the heat with a new release! AINT DEEP ENOUGH lights that fire, that passion, in your body to make you want to dance like it is the middle of summer. The chorus repeats, “You got me going deeper, deeper, deeper, but it ain’t deep enough,” as if you must reach further into your soul than ever for that pure love, that energy. Jared Lee perfectly compliments the piano chord progressions and melody, leaving Autograf with another addictive track.
Consistenly bouncing back and forth between his old and new style of dance music, Kaskade has the ear to satisfy just about anyone. Following his REDUX 003 DELUXE release, the Chicago native is back with a deep house beat. Teaming up with Lipless, MY LIGHT starts dark in tone with feminine vocals, brandishing “You are my light” into your head, up the the climax. The main body of the track is a gentle but dark bassline humming under melodic synth work, giving off a very sensual and mysterious energy!
TRUE G‘s stay true to their closest people and their city. They stay consistent with who they are and what they represent! Ayoo show their true colors with this their latest tune. Not only are they consistent with their excellent content but they rep Chicago hard, sticking to the local artist on this remix. Ayoo rocks the house music, rocks with the local artists and the city flag. Can you get more chi town than that?
If you love house music you would know Chicago is home to some of the best artists in the game like Saladin. Ayoo comes in and takes TRUE G‘s from his playlist, brings down the tempo a bit gives it a whole new attitude. Their sound gets more crisp as they go, they continue to improve with each release. Following their Lauryn Hill, Groove Delight remixes and having signed their single TIMELINE featuring RhymSter, another Chicago artist, to Artist Intellegence Agency; they have been riding that wave of momentum smoothly.
It is not untrue, Love does often have us running around in circles; what is uncertain is the outcome. With a new release Win & Woo go over these woes in HERE U R. “This is not the way that loves supposed to be, a broken record on repeat“, sings Sara Skinner about hopeful feelings in a doubtful situation. Really about going through the emotions in that kind of scenario, the Chicago producers add an uplifting deep house bass line to keep you dancing away from any of those kinds of doubts and negativity. Following the even more uplifting RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME, TEA TIME and a couple of impressive remixes, HERE U R is a wonderful addition to their playlist and yours.

What is love without the pain? Some will believe you cannot have the good with out the bad. For Autograf the good & the bad is what Love & Retrograde comprises of; the highs and their lows of their last couple of years. You can even hear it literally as you go through dark low bass lines and high end synths and vocals between songs.
Starting the EP off with Test the Waters, a down tempo beat setting a heavy tone. In between these hypnotic instrumental breaks echoes, “Go out and Test the Waters the tide will drag you deeper than you know“, like a test of will of some kind. What will come of this darkness and confusion? The EP then jumps into Retrograde, tunneling through minimal bass sounds, giving some life with these bassline grooves, a strong positive transformation!
Getting your energy ready the Casual Love, this track breathes life into Love & Retrograde, a hopeful sound to bounce around to and chant along with. “I’m looking for people of a like mind… I’m looking for love of a casual kind“; another house anthem for Autograf. They Then get funky with Hold Me Back, giving the right attitude for living singing, “the corners no place for me babe“. Goodsex is just here to show you how good you already are and it shows! Aside from all the great puns that you and I both have running through our minds, it is important to realize the power of music and the message it can send to its listeners. This Chicago duo takes that idea an extra mile sending positive messages and high vibes to their fans in each song they put out. From their originals to their remixes, all their songs do is make you believe in love!
Their latest project comes to fruition after a simple request of their fans. From their EP With Friends Vol. 1 the duo has a song called Joy and they ask their audience to send in footage of themselves enjoying life! The end result is a music video compilation of people having the time of their lives and you just cannot help but wiggle around and smile at the expression of life and love. This follows a remix collaboration of Birthday Sex with another familiar Chicago duo Birthdayy Partyy and a remake of a classic funk pop song Reach Out Of The Darkness by Friend & Lover. Their cycle of feel good lyrics and tunes makes a great playlist for people to get together and we think that’s So Groovy. It is most admirable creating a lifestyle through music that makes others feel good regardless of who they are.
This Chicago native has been around for quite some time, acquiring living legend status, being among one of the most recognized names in dance music culture. Still as time passes with new music and new favorites from many artists coming and going it may be easy to forget our roots. Well Kaskade is back again in his zone to remind you where you came from with two recent original releases that hit closer to his classic house music sound, following Cold As Stone and his Odesza remix of Falls that hold a style more in tune with the contemporary future house and bass sound. On Your Mind and Love Me Like You Used To bring us back those ambient vibes we all love to dance too. Experimenting with many different sounds over the years that no doubt have influence on each new track, Kaskade always returns to what we love him best for and he has not lost touch one bit, he just continues to evolve and we come back to love him like we used to.

Starting out with Tea Time, this track is a fun and energetic beat released as a thank you for the fan support throughout 2018. A bouncy electro house track to keep a dancefloor goin strong. Afterwards they release Right In Front Of Me, an emotionally captivating song, filled piano chords, soothing melody and comforting vocals. Collaborating with Kaleena Zanders to provide lyrics denoting that whatever you are looking at for is right in front of you once you embrace a world full of chaos. Still hot off her collab piece Before I Go, Kaleena is the perfect voice for this future house beat by Win and Woo. This tune will have you singing out loud and playing on repeat.
This Birthdayy Partyy was one of a surprise! Popping into the Chicago electronic music scene seemingly out of no where, the duo always seem to be where the party is at. They do however have a good history in the local music industry for those that know. You would have luck catching them on the big stage at events like Spring Awakening, headlining popular Chicago venues or opening for big acts like Malaa with a heavy bass house sound growling between every beat. Needless to say they got a good support network and even better ear for music that controls a crowd.
With the music the two would be releasing to their fans it is no wonder they get the recognition they do. Reviving classics like Let Me Love You by Mario, Paramore‘s Misery Business, Gwen Stefani‘s Hollaback Girl and most recently, Jeremih‘s Birthday Sex on a remix collaboration with Goodsex because, well, how can they not? To add to their huge remix discography Birthdayy Partyy’s originals even top those releases if you can believe that. Their latest, Love Overdose, with Dusty Bits is a must have in your playlist with heavy bass synth chops, vocals and a smooth break down balancing the wild energy and alluring vibes. These guys bring a Partyy you do not want to miss so get to it, they are only getting started!
