Greediphresh is back with another music video for TENCHI MUYO, a song named after an anime of the same name! The track released earlier in May with an anime lyric video, gets an update with real life themes. Following up on his project SATURDAY NIGHTS ON ADULT SWIM, that featured the single, the video features talented artists Briana Kapone, Andrelenna Grant, and Juani Sama in the midst of a kidnapping, pending to face the wrath of a passionate and skillful lover. The video follows an anime theme in contemporary settings with introductions to each character using foreign letters on screen and dramatic encounters. Furthermore it emphasizes Greediphresh’s love for anime, by destroying comic books to torture him in a comedic twist.
A young underground mogul, RhymSter is connected with the some of best artists, beat makers, producers, DJ’s, collectives and labels Chicago can offer. Working in the background and the fore front of music, from performing to coordinating the events, to spittin’ freestyles and making beats from scratch at Ever Evolved Studios. Always one to get involved with others as well, as his last release brings out four talented hip hop artists on his EP titled 4 FOR 4. This project follows his single PRODUCT OF ME and EP HEAVEN FOR ROSES.
Every track has an artist that can bring the most raw verses you can hear, no holds bars! Cannot mention heavy bars without naming Mike Booth, a photographer with unstoppable freestyle flow, explaining on the track CONSEQUENCES, “This lifestyle comes with consequences, either you on the court or on the benches.” That just being the chorus, a hard lesson; his verses always come unfiltered, and his next verses show you just that. Rhymster chimes in with hunger, “I’m that young man heading for the Forbes on that top list, the keys only open for me, I’ll challenge any locksmith.”
From there you already know this project is going to hit. One track with BeatrixKiddo takes on a lo-fi vibe on the beat. Starting with a sample from Rodney Dangerfield‘s stand up on LIL DIFFERENT, the creativity on production with this project is quite noteworthy by JAKETHESNAKE. Each track presents something different, and with Italo, he adds a touch of R&B to the project in POP UP. Finally to complete 4 FOR 4, Greediphresh comes in to match some bars on the fourth track! TELL ME brings it all out, as RhymSter brings his toughest verses with Greedi’s signature raw style and heavy voice, over a haunting beat. An EP to have on every hip hop playlist with the bass way up!
His new music video and title track, TENCHI MUYO, pays homage to the anime of the same name. With the release, Greediphresh warns any listeners that might have qualms with macho and sexually explorative lyrics. Flying across the animations as a lyric video, Greedi goes off, “Take a break just to fuck on her face, if you love me, girl that love is misplaced, get a check and I’m runnin it up…” Even if Greediphresh loads up with superficial lyrics, his vocabulary and delivery is expansive enough to not be repetitive. This follows up his tracks BOWSER and YELLOW VERSION, beef up your playlist with some uncensored goodness.
A powerfully confident voice that sounds like a cross between Ludacris, E-40, and Killer Mike. GreediPhresh drops a braggadocio song called YELLOW VERSION which can sort of reminds you of the instrumental to YELLOW LAMBORGHINI by Busta Rhymes and Chris Brown. Phresh’s song utilizes swinging hooks and bars laced with clever lines about what sets GreediPhresh apart from the crowd. A favorite line that stands out is, “Me and bro headed to the slot, same goals, main goals to approach the thots, the difference is my self esteem is genuine and don’t come from dependency on dope pills or ciroc!” This line pokes fun at the idea of how people have different methodologies for attracting the opposite sex.
In the case of GreediPhresh, he does not need drugs or hard liquor to break the ice, being himself is the real confidence. He strikes me as the type of rapper that can stir up conversation with anyone at a party and isn not concerned with getting fucked up. Unlike a lot of rappers we all know, GreediPhresh is cool, calm, collected and primarily concerned with fostering a good time and delivering quality music. This is apparent in his latest single, YELLOW VERSION and his previous EP release 32 BIT: GANGLY MEDIUM.
Carries himself with confidence you can sense his composure through his voice. He backs it up with powerful lyrics and a team of talented artists. Keeping true to his word, “I don’t no one to put me on, I got my brothers I am not alone” with Martell DB, Jazmyne Fountain, Kid J and Sonny Trill on the bill he got an army of wordsmiths. This 32 bit: Gangly Medium sees Greediphresh more comfortable and deeper in his zone, expressing a more bragadocious and witty attitude.
His first two of the five track EP, Level Up and Fly Away with Martell and Sonny, come off vainglorious as they explain seizing the fruits of their labor. Following Martell’s verse Greedi seals Level Up with “Audience expanding, pockets are expanding, I’m gon’ buy another wallet that’s elastic… I done turnt this from a hobby to an asset“. Bridging into Fly Away, they go from enjoying promiscuous women to lavish living and packed shows, flashy jewels cars n clothes. All without stuttering, speakin clear, Greedi’s energy really embodies the verses he is expressing and he is complimented by Martell DB & Sonny Trill and raw beats perfectly.
Judas and Effortless with Kid J and Jazmyne Fountain takes the 32 Bit on a whole different vibe as Greedi looks into deeper perspectives on himself, life and love. “Been creative for focus, dedication to my craft I’m like a capsule of motives, ridding the public of disbelief“, from Judas he continues, “I make them all hopeful, I understand that with this plan, certain friends have been chosen.” He clearly holds an understanding of the discipline n sacrifice it takes for the success he asked for and the level of honesty required he expresses in the next song Effortless. Love is a challenging concept, only the strong survive and the communication observed between the two artists is all you need to hear on this beat.
Closing it out with Flower, it exudes gratitude and god like confidence. Balancing being humble and grandiloquence, he covers a lot of areas in just few tracks. You can find a lot of wisdom in each track like, “I aint in a place to judge nobody else, i don’t really know nobody else. I know my make and i know myself… Quit lookin for a plug and plug yo’self“; from Flowers main hook. A strong following from his previous project 64 Bit: Hard Times, which uncovers even more of Greedi’s lifestyle and ideas in raw manner. With such a phresh style, you should be looking foward, like us, to more of what he has to uncover.

RhymSter
RhymSter
Julian Rodriguez, aka RhymSter, was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. The interest to take on music didnt catch on until he graduated high school in 2010. Looking back on his past, he realized that all his life his family had exposed him to different genres of music such as 80s-90s Hip Hop, Jazz, Rock, Oldies, Soul, House, R&B, & various types of Spanish music. In a way, he was already preparing himself for what was to come.
Julian was a solo artist for some years building his skills and relationship with fellow partners/producers Frekwenzy & GridLockAndy. After some time Julian linked with William Bolanos, Founder of Ever Evolved, to establish a vision that both of them shared musically and creatively. During the time of building the company Julian expanded his creativity into production as well as taking on the business side of Ever Evolved. A jack of all trades is what you can call him.
William Bolanos
EverEvolved Owner
Born and raised in Chicago, Il. I started EverEvolved as a music blog to promote conscious creative music from Chicago. Throughout my life i have been entertained by music of all genres. Music is my one consistent love and seeing it promoted in mainstream television networks in such negative and lazy form, i decided to take matters into my own hands. Making it a mission to open minds to the underground and artists who create original music out of passion rather than greed.
Working along side Rhymster and Frekwenzy at Fort Knox Studios, we quickly transformed EverEvolved into a music studio, event and promotion company. With this platform we not only promote music, we create it and bring it to an audience directly. Hoping to inspire and bring talented individuals together. We aim to create a future of music with class, soul and original style.
Frekwenzy
My name is Ken and I am an engineer/ producer/ and graphic designer out of EverEvolved Studios located near Montrose Blue Line train station in Chicago, IL.
I specialize in EDM and trap based production. I tend to enjoy creating beats from scratch with the people I work with just because I believe in the artistry. It’s always fun to create something organic from scratch. What usually happens in one of my sessions is I would start working on a beat with a lyricist and we would bounce off ideas and give each other critiques.
Xandr
I started gaining an interest in music from a young age. Eventually taking guitar lessons when I was in 6th and 7th grade. Then later into highschool I was musically involved with some friends in a band for a while which just brought me closer and closer to music. Which ultimately lead to me picking up Ableton which completely changed my outlook on music altogether.
As far as to why I do it….well it’s just a part of me. Sitting down to compose and edit music always gives me a really calming rush. Especially knowing that I came from dreaming about as a kid to being here right now.
