Dani Deahls name is back flowing out of our mouths again and we are not the only ones. We mentioned her not too long ago on her new releases but that is not the only thing catching everyone’s attention! As she continues to dominate Chicago‘s trap scene more and more people are beginning to question her role and stand point in the music industry as a female artist. Being a stand up gal, she has the answers.
Through multiple interviews with various publications, the DJ List MTV, Digital DJ Pool & More, Dani has been spreading awareness of gender inequality in the music industry. But she is not just talking about it, she is actively playing a role in a community working together to solve this problem. Being a successful electronic music producer and DJ with a ton of connections and female figures in her own pool of musically talented friends she has the means to do just this.

What is seemingly a funny inside joke among friends at first glance has much bigger significance. According to Dani in her own words “The nap pose is just visual cues to let the world know that we identify with a cause.” Started by Liz Garard, who majored in women’s studies in Vanderbuilt, #NapGirls is turning into a phenomenon, a movement bringing women together, sharing advice and opportunities with each other in the music industry so every one has an equal chance at success. Narrowing that gap between men and women having roles contributing to live performing, events, media; any and all positions in the industry.
Furthering the spot light on the cause, Dani was invited to her first public speech appearance to speak on behalf of female music artists about the issues regarding gender inequality on the TEDx platform. Confidently taking charge of the stage, Dani identifies herself as an equalist with a do it yourself attitude. She encourages this mentality in females in any aspect to break free from gender barriers, to make it normal to think they can succeed in anything they set their mind to. Coming from a gender neutral house hold growing up, she never thought about these differences, giving her the confidence to take any opportunity with no hesitation.
Being a perfect role model, she practices what she preaches, taking life into her own hands, not letting these obstacles like sexism trump her ambition. Independently with the help of a crew and no agency she embarked on a tour named after her single Show Me Your Kitties or SMYK. By herself she garnered the support from artists like Diplo, Tiesto, MAKJ, Velentino Khan to name a few. Her most recent trap anthem goes by the name of Cha Ching, premiering on Trap Style as a free download it has already gotten the support of HeroBust, GoshFather & JINCO. A tune filled with heavy percussion and horns flavored with rhythmic sounds its no wonder shes on top of her game.
Just reaching their 50,000th Youtube subscribers, Twerk Nation had released a Best Of Twerk Music Volume. They reached out to Mrs. Deahl to be the first to start out the series. Thirty minutes of the best 100 bpm has to offer she starts it off with her aforementioned hit Cha Ching. Whether it be for her success and talent in the trap music genre or for her support on gender equality every one is asking for Dani, all of this possible for her by being a dedicated artist. You know if she can do it you can too.

And of course you cannot be a fan without knowing her passion and love for felines. She has had a hand in working with Big Cat Rescue. It is a non profit organization that helps rescue and raise any kind of cats, domestic house cats to lions. So not only does she dominate trap music and work towards gender equality she is saving some paws on the ground too. Dani is truly a force to be reckoned with, putting hard work to any idea she puts forth.
Chicago local trap music producer Willy Joy out of no where releases a couple of wild productions. First of which was an original track by the name of Weak Shit, the likes we have not heard of in what feels like ages! But the wait was worth it and according to the man himself, after capping off the TWONKDINATION tour with Brillz, Party Favor and Ghastly, there is much more music in the works. Even better you can grab this one for free.
Reflectin on this next remix, A-Trak tweets “You haven’t turned up till you turned up to Willy Joy”. The Man is nothin but a party, not surprising coming from Chicago though am I right fellas? The man reflects his city. His remix of We All Fall Down will remind us of that too, turning a house track into a trap and bass anthem. These two tunes got me on the edge of my seat for more Willy Joy. He is not messing around this time too it sounds destroyin weak shit every where he goes! No more of that.
The local Chi-town drummer and independent artist Ben Cofresi has some fun in the studio. Seems he is always in there or out doing live shows so why not. Recently releasing his Nuveau EP & a few singles including a feauture on Probcause‘s Drifters LP and joining LIDO on tour, making a stop in hometown Chicago of course, Cofresi is making himself known. Keeping the fans occupied, he just released a beautiful future bass tune, Lykedat, a real good vibe tune as free download as well. Cofresi’s wavy synths and amazing drum work really hits a sweet spot.
Mat Zo is a repeat favorite here on Ever Evolved. Always changing up his style, challenging boundaries. Recently released the Up, Down, Left, Right EP and a flawless I See MONSTAS remix on his independent label Mad Zoo. Mat Zo has managed to pump out a few more tracks for his label, just in time for warm weather festivities. Switching it up again from a nice groovy filter house vibe with Giving It All Up, to downright dirty melodic dubstep with Ruffneck Bad Boy.
With his next single, premiering on edm.com, Mat Zo delivers a smooth electro hous mix to you for free! After listenin to Real Life and most of Zo’s music you can really tell he is a master at manipulating the emotion with nothing but sounds! He gets better with every track, so keep up with him on his soundcloud!
Scrolling through my soundcloud feed I strolled upon a masterpiece of sounds and melody. With a succession of string instruments and funky basslines, German duo KlangTherapeuten have created a track that sounds like heaven in your ears. This piece is fit with piano, synths, a groovy a bassline and what sounds like violin & cello that would make Holding Hands sound orchestral. It would be a wonderful experience to be able to see this performed with live instruments. But for now enjoy it as a free download!
Within a month French producer Habstrakt releases a couple free downloads out on soundcloud. His most recent being a remix of Yung Lean‘s Kyoto. Adding a fresh beat pattern of his own, with chopped up vocals and airy synths over it. This track is one to really vibe out to.
Habstrakt is one of the few talented producers that really puts his own unique style into trap, bass and glitch hop genres. This next track Datbooty packs a punch. With a catchy percussion pattern and pounding bass kicks & synths, Habstrakt is not one that needs loud and obnoxious noises to make a good trap and bass track. Watch out, you might break your neck jammin to this. Grab the free downloads on his soundcloud and do not forget to follow!
We all have our favorite songs. For a while Klapp Klapp by Little Dragon was Vaski‘s. If you are talented enough to be a producer you instantly get the opportunity to remix your favorite song. After coming out with his original track Killing Time a few months back the man otherwise known as Alex Presley decided to put his own spin on Klapp Klapp. Needless to say the result is impressive.
Check out & download the remix below and follow Vaski on Soundcloud.
Mustard Pimp‘s hardcore house track Renegade was just released not to long ago to tear up the dance floor. This track came out with a remix package and Run DMT‘s remix of the tune definitely takes the cake. Turning this house track into a 140 bpm styled adrenaline rush, coming at you for free! Follow Run DMT on soundcloud for more free downloads and updates on his new music.

RhymSter
RhymSter
Julian Rodriguez, aka RhymSter, was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. The interest to take on music didnt catch on until he graduated high school in 2010. Looking back on his past, he realized that all his life his family had exposed him to different genres of music such as 80s-90s Hip Hop, Jazz, Rock, Oldies, Soul, House, R&B, & various types of Spanish music. In a way, he was already preparing himself for what was to come.
Julian was a solo artist for some years building his skills and relationship with fellow partners/producers Frekwenzy & GridLockAndy. After some time Julian linked with William Bolanos, Founder of Ever Evolved, to establish a vision that both of them shared musically and creatively. During the time of building the company Julian expanded his creativity into production as well as taking on the business side of Ever Evolved. A jack of all trades is what you can call him.
William Bolanos
EverEvolved Owner
Born and raised in Chicago, Il. I started EverEvolved as a music blog to promote conscious creative music from Chicago. Throughout my life i have been entertained by music of all genres. Music is my one consistent love and seeing it promoted in mainstream television networks in such negative and lazy form, i decided to take matters into my own hands. Making it a mission to open minds to the underground and artists who create original music out of passion rather than greed.
Working along side Rhymster and Frekwenzy at Fort Knox Studios, we quickly transformed EverEvolved into a music studio, event and promotion company. With this platform we not only promote music, we create it and bring it to an audience directly. Hoping to inspire and bring talented individuals together. We aim to create a future of music with class, soul and original style.
Frekwenzy
My name is Ken and I am an engineer/ producer/ and graphic designer out of EverEvolved Studios located near Montrose Blue Line train station in Chicago, IL.
I specialize in EDM and trap based production. I tend to enjoy creating beats from scratch with the people I work with just because I believe in the artistry. It’s always fun to create something organic from scratch. What usually happens in one of my sessions is I would start working on a beat with a lyricist and we would bounce off ideas and give each other critiques.

I started gaining an interest in music from a young age. Eventually taking guitar lessons when I was in 6th and 7th grade. Then later into highschool I was musically involved with some friends in a band for a while which just brought me closer and closer to music. Which ultimately lead to me picking up Ableton which completely changed my outlook on music altogether.
As far as to why I do it….well it’s just a part of me. Sitting down to compose and edit music always gives me a really calming rush. Especially knowing that I came from dreaming about as a kid to being here right now.
