Donnie Trumpet gets real soulful in his most recent remixes with a few Chicago artists. Being a musician from Chicago himself he networks and works with quite a few popular faces in the music industry here like Towkio, Chance the Rapper, Probcause and even more talent outside local city limits.
From the Social Experiment Nate Fox joins in a remix of Lianne La Havas‘s Green & Gold, turning the playful pop hit into a soulful R&B beat as Donnie echoes in the back with his trumpet. This production is real easy on the ears and soul you cannot help but wiggle around a bit. On another track Donnie collaborates with Shay Lewis and Brandon Fox on Taylor Bennett‘s original track Dancing In the Rain on his debut album premiering on Rolling Stones. Alot of talent packed into one soulful tune. Would be a pleasure to experience live.
Lets take it back to the old days, Al Capone is still running Chicago, speak easy’s are thriving off bootleg alcohol and the Jazz was as smooth as that cigar you are poofin on at the bar. The women dancing the Charleston, with their bold lipstick colors and their long dress and fancy head dresses. Then you got Probcause over here stealing the show with his orchestra, Donnie Trumpet, Cofresi on the drums and KSRA serenading the crowd. Coming from his 2014 Waves EP, Prob brings this song back from the past with the new video but he is also coming with new music too.
Fellow white rapper Lil Dicky caught the Chicago locals ear, probably after Dicky got the brilliant idea of making a music video using other peoples resources. Sort of a social experiment. The two jumped on a beat together and here we have The Woods. A real chill and catchy beat that will have you munchin out at the crib next to your bong all day.
So Prob is continuing with his collaborations, so much so that you would wonder where he even gets the time to eat and sleep. Right after releasing a hit with Branx, Exmag and Adrian Lau, and producing his own track with DRO, Prob went back to the homie Drew Mantia and released Same Thing, a track for the fifth compilation album installment by AC3, a highly reputable Hip Hop Festival partnered with iHip Hop Distribution. Prob take 5 man you deserve it.
UPDATE: 11/23/15 4:45pm: Premiering on Mass Appeals Probcause unleashes a creative art music video for his track Same Thing with Drew Mantia. While this is his first video animated video with the help of Elijah Alvarado Prob is no stranger to art and drawing. Having an Art Degree at the Art Institute of Chicago, it definitely helped with a skill explored in early ages. “I grew up drawing and was always attracted to graffiti” Colin explained to Mass Appeals. “I started painting pretty young but got arrested a few too many times… It basically got to a point where I was putting my college scholarship on the line if I got arrested again, so I decided to chill out a little bit in my 20s”.
Well we are glad Prob gets to release his creative angst through a professional medium combining it with his music career! You can bet that this will not be his last animated project. Follow Probcause’s Instagram located below for more of his creative art!
ProbCause comes out with the perfect summer album to listen to while you are out chillin with the homies. While ProbCause is busy on his nationwide tour in the states he managed to perfect his album Waves with some massive collaborations. Working with Exmag, Gibbz and Chicago locals Donnie Trumpet, Chance the Rapper and even Twista, Prob otherwise known as Colin Grimm spits the rawest lyrics over smooth beats. The diversity in music styles that Colin can work with shows what talent and creativity he is capable of. I cannot wait to hear what ProbCause has in store for the future. You can follow Prob on facebook and soundcloudto keep up with his updates as he continues on with his tour into the summer.

RhymSter
RhymSter
Julian Rodriguez, aka RhymSter, was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. The interest to take on music didnt catch on until he graduated high school in 2010. Looking back on his past, he realized that all his life his family had exposed him to different genres of music such as 80s-90s Hip Hop, Jazz, Rock, Oldies, Soul, House, R&B, & various types of Spanish music. In a way, he was already preparing himself for what was to come.
Julian was a solo artist for some years building his skills and relationship with fellow partners/producers Frekwenzy & GridLockAndy. After some time Julian linked with William Bolanos, Founder of Ever Evolved, to establish a vision that both of them shared musically and creatively. During the time of building the company Julian expanded his creativity into production as well as taking on the business side of Ever Evolved. A jack of all trades is what you can call him.
William Bolanos
EverEvolved Owner
Born and raised in Chicago, Il. I started EverEvolved as a music blog to promote conscious creative music from Chicago. Throughout my life i have been entertained by music of all genres. Music is my one consistent love and seeing it promoted in mainstream television networks in such negative and lazy form, i decided to take matters into my own hands. Making it a mission to open minds to the underground and artists who create original music out of passion rather than greed.
Working along side Rhymster and Frekwenzy at Fort Knox Studios, we quickly transformed EverEvolved into a music studio, event and promotion company. With this platform we not only promote music, we create it and bring it to an audience directly. Hoping to inspire and bring talented individuals together. We aim to create a future of music with class, soul and original style.
Frekwenzy
My name is Ken and I am an engineer/ producer/ and graphic designer out of EverEvolved Studios located near Montrose Blue Line train station in Chicago, IL.
I specialize in EDM and trap based production. I tend to enjoy creating beats from scratch with the people I work with just because I believe in the artistry. It’s always fun to create something organic from scratch. What usually happens in one of my sessions is I would start working on a beat with a lyricist and we would bounce off ideas and give each other critiques.

I started gaining an interest in music from a young age. Eventually taking guitar lessons when I was in 6th and 7th grade. Then later into highschool I was musically involved with some friends in a band for a while which just brought me closer and closer to music. Which ultimately lead to me picking up Ableton which completely changed my outlook on music altogether.
As far as to why I do it….well it’s just a part of me. Sitting down to compose and edit music always gives me a really calming rush. Especially knowing that I came from dreaming about as a kid to being here right now.
