Hermitude Has New Tunes & A Bunch of Nominations

Hermitude is set to make an appearance  at the Australian Aria Awards on the 26th of November. They duo has gathered up 7 nominations in their country in the areas “Best Album of the Year” “Best Australian Live Act” “Best GroupBest Producer” to name a few! I have had the joy to be able to experience Hermitude live and I have a good feeling they will get that Australian Live Act. The energy they brought to Toyota Park for Freaky Deaky Chicago 2015 was just incredible.

Aside from that news Hermitude presents you fans with new music as well! Xan Young on the vocals for their most recent track. The collab creates a beautiful future classic tune for a chill day. Right after releasing a heavy hitter for fellow Australian producer Alison Wonderland and their latest album Dark Night Sweet Light.  Go back and forth between moods with the two tracks.

Alison Wonderland – Run

Screen Shot 2015-04-25 at 11.01.39 PM

Don’t judge her tiny figure, she comes with huge talent and great music! Alison Wonderland (Alex Scholler) is taking the U.S by her madness. She has been part of Coachella and Mad Decent’s line ups. This Sydney native is signed by EMI Music Australia and Astralwerks (an American label company). On Mad Decent’s website they called her “one of the most influential producers in the region”.

Producing her new album Run, it has almost 5 stars on iTunes. You may think she thinks of ” 6 impossible things before breakfast” (Alice in Wonderland). Her Album is electronic with a perfect dash of wonder. Her most popular songs are Run and You Don’t Know. I can only see her climbing up the music charts or even making Dj Mag’s top 100 Djs. She is one of a kind, you cannnot say she is copying anyones style or sound. Her Album is a different kind of electronic music.

A great experience at The Mid – Chicago by Alison Wonderland along with Hoodboi. Her first time in Chicago and hopefully not the last. She had the crowd going wild, playing her new album and mixes. The crowd never once stopped dancing. Her energy was intense you would think her soul was following the rabbit into the turntables. Perhaps her goal was to make us all mad.
