So when he hears about one of his own favorite artists, Big Gigantic making a new album he picks out one of his favorite tracks to remix in honor. Bite Me Perfects More Remixes

Completing so much since his debut release, Bite Me has gained quite the following. Maxing out at around 15k followers on soundcloud. It is because his good ear in original production and remixes, impressing many ears with his take on GTA X Skrillex. While his original work stands out with a dramatic and crisp sound and style that is becoming identifiable to the artist. His latest just keeps topping his last as this self-taught artist continues to learn and improve and at the same time gifting the fruit of his labor for free!

Continuing a trend of female vocals in his remixes, it is handled well with synths, piano and heavy bass. Polina‘s vocal house track Little Babylon is transformed into a melodic trap anthem that maintains a fresh energy from start to finish, like an adrenaline rush. Takin it a step further Bite Me takes Fallen by Freefall and Savannah Low in a different direction. Standing out in remix package competition the house track designed for the dance floor was flipped on its head. Doing justice for the vocals you can get caught in a trance amongst the lyrics and synths floating over hats and snares but in an instant bass will takes over. Nothing but gold from this artist so far and he is only starting, so keep your ears open for his next tune.

Imogen Heap gets a Future Bass Cofresi Makeover

Still hot off his Dillon Francis & NGHTMRE remix Cofresi one ups himself and aims for the iconic Imogen Heap & Guy Sigsworth in Frou Frou. Focusing on Imogens vocals in Dumbing Down of Love you can hear where the rhythm comes from. Layering in beats, hats, cymbals, synths and bass Cofresi turns the melancholy track into a vibrant track for an energetic crowd. Hitting up festivals and shows coming out of summer, I am sure the new beats are getting a great reaction and you can get the same at your party with a free download!

eekkoo Delivers New Music

After a some silence we have gotten some audio from the tech house virtuoso. With a few edits here and there after Sloans Dress and collab work, eekkoo releases Just days apart a remix and a new original. We are first greeted with the original piece Cleopatra, filled with beautiful melody like the snake mistress’s gaze sucking you in to dark bassline as cold as stone. Following that, a remix for the techno cats pouncing the dance floors with Hanover by Jeremy Olander, with a playful melody and bass that purrs. Doing justice for the original track. Eekkoo seems to be picking up some activity with podcasts and the recent work, cannot wait to see what else he has coming up.

Can Never Have Too Much Amtrac Music

Amtrac seems to have an endless outlet of creativity. He is on a steady stream releasing EP’s and remixes. Looking way out of the box for musical inspiration. Releasing earlier this month a remix of Sigur Rós’s  Heysátan. The musical piece, performed with live instruments such as brass, guitar and piano synth, has some age to it. Amtrac revives the Icelandic bands song into a melancholic house beat. Adding an ambient synth over the original brass melody and splicing in some vocals. A free download Right after releasing a couple of EP’s back to back.

While always working on remixes he always comes back around with the original sound. Releasing Farewell and Renton on Waze & Odyssey’s Street Tracks following another 2 track EP on Kidnap Kid’s Birds That Fly label. Some of the best tunes to hit a dance floor that can sway audiences between ambient beats an deep basslines, Amtrac does it big. Not even stopping there because while he is not releasing originals he has some more remixes.

With no signs of stopping, his most recent remix, Days Of Lavender. An ambient track leaving you drifting off. From Promises Ltd. EP by Chrome Sparks and Charlie Brand Amtrac targets Days of Lavender. An upbeat electro track off the duos debut EP reimagined.  You will instantly hear the difference but both leave you breathless. Amtrac just continues to take his creativity to new levels.

Option4 Stimulates Minds & Ears with EP Comic Project

Though based in Denver, CO Brennen Bryarly stays close to his Chicago family with roots deeply embedded in deep house and underground. Under the alias Option4 he took the underground Chicago house sound and made his own formula out of it and continues to push his creative limits. His influence has given him opportunities to befriend Chicago artists’ like Autograf and remix a track or collaborate with. He has also been able to take his Chicago influence to his home in Denver and reshape the underground house scene there with his promotional company the Hundred and music festival Cloak & Dagger.

Over the last month Option4 has been releasing a new project little by little through NestHQ releases. Working with Sweat It Out label on this, this project is outside the box than your conventional EP releases. Collaborating with Ashley Jones on art illustrations, Brennen has created a soundtrack for an alternate reality comic book series based upon characters and friends in his music career and home city of Denver, CO. The outcome is quite an entertaining and interactive experience between fans and the artist.

The comic is based upon the legalization of marijuana in Denver, CO and the expectations that came out of it vs the reality. Many believed the legalization of the herb would raise crime rate levels as a consequence. What has happened was quite the opposite, the city thrived economically and everyone was too baked and happy to produce crime. This comic portrays the expectations of the fearful public and as the listener and reader you can listen to and watch as the story unfolds with every release.

Tink Opens Up Winter’s Diary

Tink may have been silent for a while but she is vocal and making her self known once more. Getting us re-acquainted with her mindset, she breaks her silence with Count It Up. Counting up her blessings and her profits over her ambitions, well deserved after spending long days and long nights workin hard doing what you love. Not long after Winters Diary 4 follows. Not a month old and over a million people played and got something unexpected! A soul embracing 15 track album that is leaving her followers inspired and empowered. It is available to stream right here.

The unexpected is somewhat consistent with an artist like Tink. Releasing music from soul she switches up genres to match vibe and her colors. Tink surprises round the Clock and she does it again. Collaborating with My Digital Enemy they create a genre bending Rap infused Bass House beat that will get your blood pumping. Not an unfamiliar genre for Tink having worked with Tazer on bass beat dubbed Wet Dollars, later to be remixed by Zeds Dead. Needless to say we are glad Tink is back and blowing our minds. Sounds like she has a lot more up her sleeves.

Mick Jenkins Spreads the Love

Mick Jenkins is spreading that love and good music. Coming out of the studio with a positive message much needed for Chicago. Despite all the negativity being thrown your way you just have to keep your head up. The Universe does not throw anything your way that you cannot handle and everyone fighting a battle. If you are holding onto hate don’t. Live in the moment and Spread Love. Good to see a see a popular artist use his platform to spread a good message.

After all that positivity Mick Jenkins went for a trip to Toronto, Canada to record a song for Red Bull. Meeting up with BADBADNOTGOOD on the production they combine an indie jazzy beat with the hip hop heads lyrics and come up with more of a performance piece than a song. Starting out real slow like the morning and the then hits you with an energetic verse. Red Bull can certainly pick the artists to some up with something creative and unheard of.
