Oliver $ & Jimi Jules – Pushing On (Tchami Remix)

Tchami

Released in the early months of 2014, Berlin based artist Oliver $ and Swiss Jazz  aficionado Jimi Jules mastered a Chicago styled deep house track Pushing On. With a bass line and piano chords reminiscent to Frankie Knuckles style and sexy vocal samples, the beat quickly becomes energetic and spiritually uplifting. Zeds Dead & Memorecks – Love Me

zeds dead show

Zeds Dead have been holding out on this collab piece with Memorecks for a while now. Love Me first made noise on Zeds Dead BBC Radio 1  Essentials Mix about a year ago alongside Trouble. Since it was just collecting dust DC & Hooks finally let it out as a free download in a Bit Torrent bundle, around the time of the EP release, which includes the music video for Lost You ft. Twin Shadows & D’Angelo Lacy, stems for their hit track Hadouken, and their first EP Fresh Beets when they were first known as Mass Productions. Starting out with drums and a piano melody, Love Me turns into a smooth progression of Zeds Dead synths and moody vocals creating an atmosphere only Zeds Dead fans would be too familiar with. Check out Love Me below and download the track which is now available on their soundcloud.

Habstrakt

Habstrakt

Within a month French producer Habstrakt releases a couple free downloads out on soundcloud. His most recent being a remix of Yung Lean‘s Kyoto. Adding a fresh beat pattern of his own, with chopped up vocals and airy synths over it. This track is one to really vibe out to.

Habstrakt is one of the few talented producers that really puts his own unique style into trap, bass and glitch hop genres. This next track Datbooty packs a punch. With a catchy percussion pattern and pounding bass kicks & synths, Habstrakt is not one that needs loud and obnoxious noises to make a good trap and bass track. Watch out, you might break your neck jammin to this. Grab the free downloads on his soundcloud and do not forget to follow!

Dillon Francis + Sultan & Ned Shepard – When We Were Young ft. The Chain Gang of 1974

Dillon-Francis when we were young

Dillon Francis gives us a sneak peak of his debut album Money Sucks, Friends Rule with this single off the LP. This epic collaboration with Sultan & Ned Shepard and the Chain Gang of 1974 keeps the anticipation for the album up high. This is one of Dillons euphoric tracks with some smooth upbeat synths and of course his own style of sounds that he has perfected with nice vocals over it. When We Were Young will definitely be a fun & memorable sing along anthem at live shows, and since there is a lyric video for the track everyone should know the words!

Even tho Dillon has announced in an interview with Power 96 during Ultra that July is for sure the month to release the album, the apparent delay does not phase us. Going through record labels as we know is always a tedious process. With word of collabs with TwistaBrendon Urie and of course Sultan & Ned Shepard and Chain Gang of 1974 to be on the album, we have no problem waiting in anticipation! The talent on this album will no doubt make up for the time.

Check out the lyric video for When We Were Young below.

Vaski – Klapp Klapp [Free Download]

klapp klapp

We all have our favorite songs. For a while Klapp Klapp by Little Dragon was Vaski‘s. If you are talented enough to be a producer you instantly get the opportunity to remix your favorite song. After coming out with his original track Killing Time a few months back the man otherwise known as Alex Presley decided to put his own spin on Klapp Klapp. Needless to say the result is impressive.

Check out & download the remix below and follow Vaski on Soundcloud.

Chris.Ekoh – Those Eyes (Let You Go)

Chris.Ekho

Vocals by the man himself with lyrics as good or better than his last track Slow ReleaseThe catchy chorus can match up to any popular pop song on the radio , you will probably catch yourself putting this one on repeat.

Golden Features Releases A Music Video

Golden-Features-Self-titled-EP

Since the start Golden Features has been a project by Tom Stell to express creativity in his own musical style, becoming an artist of his own, straying away from the tedious nature of mainstream edm artists. Since his debut self titled EP Golden Features has been getting recognized everywhere. Recently Golden was nominated for best break through artist by InTheMix next to artists like What So Not, Motez, Wave Racer & M4SONIC. The winner will be announced this August 6th at an invite only dinner.

Needless to say Golden has been real busy with his music and getting his name out there. He has also been working on other ways to express his creativity, looking into visual arts.  As of late Golden released a music video for his track Tell Me ft. Nicole Millar. The video has a sinister vibe at first being filmed in black & white. Taking place in an abandoned warehouse with odd characters Golden takes you inside his head and gives you a glimpse of his world. Very fitting visuals for this track I would say check out the video below to see for yourself.
