Arty puts out another successful song aside from Up All Night. Stronger makes you feel like he let down his guard and gives us an insight of his insecurities in a positive light. How many of us really have those times that we just can’t anymore and we reach out to anyone to feel stronger. Great song for any daily activity. This is not just another feel good song, this is the song you conquer the impossible to.
Galantisconsist of two members with names like Style of Eye (Linus Eklöw) andBloodshy ( Christian Karlsson) what kind of music can you expect with a song calledPeanut Butter and Jelly? Great sounds, thats what. They created a buzz when they were granted an uncommon opportunity to perform at Coachella. Coachella is a huge music festival that only the best of the best get to perform. A fact about this duo is Boodshy is a song writer and producer. He help reinvent Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, and Madonna.
Peanut Butter and Jelly is a fun upbeat song, doesn’t have to make sense. Does anything make sense anyways? There mascot doesn’t make sense either. They seem to be more then cat lovers. There taste is very majestic, with a cat’s body and a fish face. I don’t think they want us to think much and just let go. Perhaps his trying to help us reinvent ourselves also. Karlsson said “GALANTIS is about challenging, not following”.
Some Music Festival’s like to have a certain theme to match the genre of music that will be played or it can be a regular festival with multiple music genres. Whether going to Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Made in America or the Riot Fest, take a chance on different fashion styles. Think outside the box other than a regular t-shirt and jeans, sandals and gym shoes, mix it up a bit. This current 2015 year, the new fad seems to be a bohemian look or the 90’S trend. Take a look below for a few stylish ensembles that can help inspire an idea for an fashionable 2015 Music Festival look.
Gentlemen, the task of shopping is always more incomplex then women. Of course no one wants to look like a dork, a douche bag or just plain ole undignified. No matter what look dope to the highest degree. Possibly you may bump into a famous music artist or the woman of your dreams.
Make sure the look has it’s finishing touches with Jewelry, Sporty Watches, Hats and Headbands. Also carry extra mints, toiletries, deodorant, fragrance, selfie stick, in a cool Backpack that coordinates with the outfit.
When the music hits, the audience jumps up and down, walking through grass and dirt in inevitable and someone may step on your feet. Wear the most comfortable shoes to keep from hurting your toes or gaining imperfections toward the feet area. Dr. Scholls may be necessary to insert inside the shoe area for comfort. Remember there will be alot of standing and walking around for hours throughout the event.

In the words of one of the greatest musicians of all time “Music is my Religion” – Jimi Hendrix.
All over the world people come together to celebrate music in harmony. The tickets may cost an arm and a leg (pricey) but the experience is significant. Along with Fun, Food, Music, Selfies and fashion, Music Festival’s can also have a downside if a game plan is not in effect beforehand. Take a look at these 6 unforgettable tips that can help sustain an fantastic experience!
6. Stay Hydrated
The Food and drinks are not cheap, bring cash and make sure to have plenty of bottles of water packed. Also bringing a personal insulated water bottle is not a bad idea either, that way refilling your own personal bottle will not be a problem.
5. Porter potties? or Bush?
After drinking all of that water and eating food, it has to come out sometime during the festival. Where should I go?? Let’s face it the world is filled with people who don’t care vs. germ-a-phobes. The nearest stores also claim they have a no public washroom policy. What to do? Be prepared to use the porter potty or find yourself a bush as my friend Bria Douglas says. A personal roll of toilet paper may be needed as well.
4. Prepare for the weather
When it rain it pours, the weather man said it would be a nice hot summer day but as always…. he predicted wrong once again. Especially here in Chicago, never underestimate the weather change at the last minute. Be prepared to bring an umbrealla, poncho, light jacket and wear closed toe shoes.
3. Crowd Etiquette
So the guy that’s standing in front of you just had to lift his heavy girlfriend on his shoulders so she can see David Guetta better for her SnapChat. Excuse me? Can you not right now? If this happens politely tap your comrade and ask if they can please get down or plan B: Try to move to another tight spot or plan C: Kick his ass (your choice)
2. Plan and pack
Always have a portable phone charger, sun screen, hat and sunglasses and whatever else necessities that is needed while out in the music battlefield.
1. Be safe and Have FUN
Become open minded it’s a music festival, not an execution. Chill with the homies, best friend or girlfriend/boyfriend. Try to even make new associates. Festivals are sometimes presented with a theme and commonly held outdoors with other attractions such as food and merchandise vending, performance art and social activities. So relax and Enjoy it! Even I will be turning up at Lollapalooza on August 1st, Hope to see you all there 😜
Little do people know, Kaskade is a Chicago native. Explains his talent and endless success. He has performed globally from Tomorrowland to Ultra. He was named America’s Top DJ multiple times.
His new song Never Sleep Alone, has been out for less than a month, and has already hit a million plays on Spotify. Seeming by the art work on his single, it looks like he gets his inspiration in the ambiance of nature. You will feel nothing but peace and serenity leading you into those fun summer days. Different from his mix, Summer Time Sadness. He wrote on his page that he does’t want to tell us what this song means. Like in a dream, he wants us to imprint our story into his song.
Golden Features comes out of the silence to present us with long awaited present, some new gold. It has been about a year since we last heard some original Golden Features music, when he released his self titled EP. But at long last, Baxter it got the blood pumpin and the head bobbin. It starts with an eerie intro to back your excitement, unraveling into vocals ringing sweet words into your ears. Finally with the beat of the drum, a final climactic push to deliver that raw golden bass. A dedication to someone significant it holds great meaning to the artist himself, you can hear the passion in the music. A perfect introduction to his upcoming XXIV EP.
Now XXIV is not here yet, but it is coming, a new wave of Golden Features music. But we got a good taste of it and plenty of Golden to listen to while we wait. Aside from original mixes he has released a couple of remixes to fill our ears. Some tunes to put on repeat, his remix of No Fun by the Presets and the more recent Years of War by Porter Robinson. Done to perfection with his signature deep metallic basslines, a sound so addicting. Lets just hope he gives us another track to preview the new EP. We just cannot get enough!
Chicagos own Trentino is back with other locals Freak Island on another remix. This time turning a smooth indie alternative song into a breaks banger ready for the dance floor. The artists takes their focus on Episode‘s track Hold On feat. Stefan Weiner, stripping it down and adding uptempo beats and heavy basslines over chopped up vocals of the original. A smooth yet heavy track that will surely make the dance floor get down and dirty.
You got to hand it over to the choice artist pics of deadmau5. You will find some worth while artists listening to mau5trap on soundcloud. Eekkoo in particular had the honor of having Joel Zimmerman track him down on soundcloud. Since then eekkoo, aka Jon Doyan, has been releasing his master pieces of sound through mau5trap label.
It was not only style and sound that caught deadmau5 either. Rather it was also eekkoo’s immense knowledge of sound design. His experience cover producing, mixing and mastering his own tracks to teaching a production class in Montreal after years of self and professional study. Which he says helps him keep up to date with new technology. A definite advantage for his creative outlet among many. Doyan has also revealed to Thump.vice that he enjoys songwriting on the side of mixing and producing.
Further expressing his creative side he challenges himself to learn everyday with different projects. Since eekkoo favors techno vibes in his production he decided to take a spin on the original with his own dark and mellow sounds. Warren Avenue, one of his recent releases takes on a sound from the one of the birthplaces of techno house music; Detroit. In fact the track is named after a city street from there. Grab it for free on his soundcloud!
Eekkoo has also released an unnofficial remix of Jamie xx‘s song Loud Places. Turning his deep house style into a journey of uplifting sounds. Eekkoo, with this talent, may very well soon be a well known name around music community. With already good support and excellent playlist it seems likely.
A powerful voice that gives chills, expressive songs and a fashion beauty. Jessie Ware always appears on stage in a chic wardrobe ready to sing her heart out. Ware’s music videos are full of nature, people and visual images that usually illustrate the ballad that is being performed. This unique musician is from London, England. She debuted her album Devotion in 2012 and her latest album Tough Love in 2014.
“Say you Love” me was written by Ware and co-written with Ed Sheeran. This love song depicts that saying these four words mean more than just a hug, and time. Love is an highly dynamic word. When someone is in love, thinking about the other person and wanting to be with them all the time can be tough, because without them life would feel incomplete. Ware sings, ‘Cause I don’t wanna fall in love, If you don’t wanna try, and It sucks when a person falls in love with someone, and the other person is unsure about their feelings towards the whole relationship.
Jessie’s genres are Electronic, R&B and Tropical. Even though she is a fresh face to the music scene, she has caught the eye of many other artist, such as rap/hip-hop artist J. Cole who jumped on this track “Kind of…sometimes…maybe” with a remix. At the beginning it gets freaky 😝 with Cole’s lyrics then incorporates Jessie’s sensual soft voice for an even more seductive tone.
What’s Next for Jessie Ware
Jessie Ware is currently on tour in the United Kingdom for the remainder of the 2015 spring and summertime. Don’t feel down though, she does come to the U.S. very often to tour, perform on daytime television shows and collaborate with other famous artist like Miguel, Nicki Minaj and more. Discover new info about Jessie Ware, also keep up with her moves. Follow her below on all her social media websites! ✌
The super talented Jack LNDN from, you guessed it; London, has just released a couple of remixes, among a series of remixes on his soundcloud. This one will have you hooked. LNDN takes an already catchy pop song by James Hersey, whos voice works perfectly with Jacks chords and jazzy disco house vibes, and turns it into a groovy dance mix. But this remix is not the only one to receive so much attention! Even if you have not heard of Jack LNDN you have most likely heard his work.
LNDN made some noise remixing the award winning track Rather Be by the Clean Bandits. That track alone has over one hundred and seventy thousand views on soundcloud! Third most views next to his track on Aeterna, off of his Drop Out EP and his amazing Remix of Get Lucky by Daft Punk. But it was his Rather Be remix that had the honor of being featured on Electric Forest Music Festivals 2015 trailer.
Now Jack is getting ready to hit up a series of cities for a North American tour this summer starting May 4th. You can expect a lot of new tunes from his new EP Summer Never Ends on most of these live shows. And live shows is what we will expect to see from Jack in the near future. Recently speaking with Throwed Magazineabout his touring and new music, Jack mentioned he is “currently developing a live show where I’m trying to bring in some vocals and live vocoder stuff“. He also spoke up playing with the ideas of using keyboards or even drum pads for live performance. Which would be quite spectacular, since he has a background in classical music growing up!
While talking to Throwed as well he had noted an ambition that he was his fans to know about. Aside from working on funky deep house tunes Jack LNDN has also found a passion in making hip hop beats. “There’s certain hip hop that you can listen to in any mood. Since then I’ve been doing beats withpeople“.This ambition has already got LNDN to do a track on Lupe Fiasco‘s new album, and possibly an EP with him lined up for the future. Judging by the sound of his new deep house master piece remix of Snoop Dogg‘s Peaches N’ Cream, I will say I trust LNDN’s style of hip hop and I cannot wait to hear it what he has got!
In the interview he also talked about his creative process of making a song. He said “I’ll sit downat the piano and work something out that I like. It usually always begins around chords because thats what I know, thats what I was brought up on“. Listening to his new tracks, which you can find for free on his soundcloud easier than you can find a colorful picture of him, you can hear his professional keyboard skills work wonders for your ears. The rhythm flowing so perfectly with ambient harmonies and melodies, creating wonderful and funky dance tracks. You can hear tracks off his new Summer Never Ends EP on his soundcloud where he just released his final installment Fooled Around.
