Probcause – I Feel U & A Probmatik Surprise

prob

ProbCause, one of the more busier artists coming out of Chicago just gets busier adding more and more projects to his resumee. ZRO FOX, a collab project with Hologram Kizzie has been one of his latest acts to work on, and performed flawlessly. This next project comes as a surprise to fans of Prob. I Feel U, a track with an excellent producer Dro, is not only an original but a collaboration with the mic handler himself as Probcause adds producer to his repertoire.

But that is not the only great news coming from the Chi Town local. Probcause made a special visit and a special announcement at a very popular event. During Electric Forest weekend Probcause has had the opportunity to perform a live song on stage with Gramatik. Not even with his track Probmatik Monster Stomp, but with a brand new track he has been working on with the New York artist. A preview of a bigger collab project. Not much info on a release date yet but keep an eye out for Probcause’s collab album with Gramatik. Without a doubt, that will be a super smooth and addictive project that we cannot wait to hit the replay button on.

Local Chicago Hip Hop MC RhymSter is stirring up quite the buzz around the underground scene. Since the release of his last singles You Don’t Know and Can’t Fuck With Us RhymS has been busy making more music, networking and doing shows around Chicago and getting his name and brand out there. These days you can catch him bouncing around open mics in Chicago between Lily’s on Lincoln and Halsted and Subterranean in Wicker Park. With this ambition he has been turning heads and gainin some street cred.

While building a good name for himself at open mics, underground Chicago artists from SAK Crew have taken notice to RhymSters talents . One thing leads to another and RhymS and the SAK Crew start doing shows together. Recently headlining a show at the Cubby Bear in Wrigleyville, RhymSter invited SamIAm the MC from SAK, an off the top Freestyler, MTV World Rap Battle finalist and BET‘s 106 & Park Freestyle Friday Hall of Famer, onto the stage to cap off a wicked set. It was not long before RhymS was initiated a member of their crew.

While RhymS chit chats with the local artists, gaining support for total world control, he has also been hard at work making beats with those same artists. Just a few days ago releasing Ya’ Playin, a head bopper with SamIAm the Mc, produced by the talented Hip Hop producer and RhymSters go to beat maker from Germany, Henrik3000. Also givin away another collab for free, Yin & Yang, produced by Frekwenzy and Sandlot MC L.x.

With all this being said, it is only the beginning for RhymSter. He has so much more planned. Linguistic Rhetoric, an EP in the works, straight hip hop, is gonna be a must if you love that creative flow. More work with Henrik3000, MachoBeatz. Shows, of course, you have to catch RhymS at one of the freestyle open mics at SubT, or Lily’s or where ever he finds one, no place is safe. Or you know you can wait for a tour. He knows how to catch a crowd, even from the top of his dome.

FIRST LOOK: SMOOTH RHYTHM

SMOOTH BABY

Smooth; adjective smoother, smoothest.

Defining the word Smooth can have many different meanings. It could mean being easy going, having a way with words, to be extremely cool or just completing everything down the line with finesse. Smooth Rhythm, a singer/musician and a #SANDLOTCREW member, was born and raised on the northwest side of Chicago. Watching him play his guitar certifies he has the qualities of being smooth and the rhythm he brings with his talent will make people move out their seat.

Listen above to Smooth latest song titled “Wait A Minute” produced by Eric “MachoBeatz” Camacho also an #SANDLOTCREW affiliate. In this song Smooth expresses how he sees this pretty lady at a lounge where he had to stop and get those digits before she preceded to leave out the door with her friends. Smooth also encourages his fellow Men on his SoundCloud page with this statement, “To all my dudes get your game on and talk to that lady…” As you can see he’s definitely not afraid.

As a musician Smooth is a Universal Artist. There is no one genre he attaches himself with, he does it all. From Hip-hop, Spanish, Reggae, to R&B , thinking outside the box is more of his mechanism. Smooth not only enjoys listening to all different types of music genres, he is open to working on collaborations with other artist as he progressing with his own music career.

Smooth is currently performing his titled song “I wanna love you” which is inspired by the hit song made by Bob Marley. This version is transformed into his own style and lyrics. Log on to Facebook and Click This to see a live performance.

Ladies get ready to throw your sexy panties to the stage. Per a previous conversation I had with Smooth Rhythm, his music is for everyone all over the world to listen to, nevertheless, he is a Ladies Man. Possibly there will be special moments when he may even grab a special lady out of her seat to sing and dance with him on stage. Wouldn’t that be a treat? Not only does he sing good but from the looks above he may even be good with his hands. Which could lead to why he plays the guitar so passionately.

What’s Coming Up Next for Smooth Rhythm

Smooth Rhythm is presently performing at different Open Mics around the city of Chicago. He is writing, recording, making music with other artist and gearing up for a music video for his song “Wait A Minute” which will be featured this Summer. Follow Smooth Rhythm on all his social media pages below to keep up to speed with his latest news, interviews, music projects, shows and more.

Probcause & Friends

probcause

Local Chicagoan Colin Grimm otherwise known as Probcause is gettin known quite quickly from fans to artists and labels. It is his unique style of rapping and the energy he brings to a stage for an audience. It is his music itself that has alot of energy on its own so it is hard not to get known, only to feeding his ego!  Getting the attention by some real dope artists too.

Prob has turned the heads of the Lowtemp crew and other artists alike and the music they make together is pretty perfect. It is like perfect match in creative minds. Recently hookin up with another Chicago artist Manic Focus to make a sexy remix of Exmags track Tilt Mode with Gibbz. Prob is not unknown to Exmag either, having made a track together on his latest album Waves and working with Lowtemp creator Gramatik on a real cool super creative beat that will make you wanna grab a beer n party till you get loud!

Speaking of collabing with dope artists Colin has started another project aside from Probcause. Linking up with Hologram Kizzie, aka Psalm One, to give you Zro Fox. Get it? Pretty cool, and they announced the collab with a serisouly dope music video for their single Might Not, as a preamble to their album to be released later.

Hologram Kizzie and Prob have been workin together for a while since 2008 from live sets at the Bottom Lounge up to Lincoln Hall in Chicago, to working on a few songs here and there on records such as the Recipe Vol. 1 & 2 covering multiple genres. Recently playing here in our very own city of Chicago in Lincoln Hall, is where they first layed down Zro Fox’s single Might Not and it was magnificent.

Watching the two flow together on the mic so flawlessly was amazing. They work very well together, them and Kat V the beautuful violinist, Cofresi and other artists that Prob likes to collab with frequently and bring up on stage. Manic Focus is also known to work with a violinist, Colin n JmaC share some similar interests! Colin definitely knows how to spot and pick a good artist that would be compatible to collab with him. Having a show with Big Gigantic at the Aragon Ballroom this Saturday the 14th, I am excited to see what Probcause has next up his sleeve.
