Can you put together a video with just a handful of props? With just a few familiar faces, finger light gloves, a dark room and a whole lot of attitude ESSSE formed Constellations. Directed by Brandon Holmes, he turned the beat created by Moltar & mixed by Frekwenzy into a visual stimulant featuring model Afrika Benjamin. A wild make over for the track previously released on his last EP Over The Daze. Essse has been busy releasing singles like Ya Tu Sabe with Ever Evolved and other projects so be prepared!
Reminiscing back to Show N Love at Sub T in Wicker Park you have to be reminded of the talent brewing in Ever Evolved Studio. Plenty of recent releases and events coming and going. A couple of independent singles and a wild collab track. We also had our buddy and talented videographer Brandon Holmes put together a highlight video of some successful events and celebrations, holding only a little bit of an idea of whats to come!

Most recently a project packed with Ever Evolved artists and affiliates release a single Check A Bagg produced by DJ Marskiss. Rhymster, Radcliff, Terry Tertiary, Candy Irene, Mike Booth, Safe G and Essse with the huge collaboration and a mouthful ofwords onto a 3 minute beat. A unique blend of styles between all these creatives. Interesting enough all these artists are scheduled to release more independent singles and collaboration projects and singles heading into the warmer seasons so follow for updates!
Solo Sam is on the Come Up in Chicago getting recognized by multiple local media outlets as he releases some new tracks. It is hard to pass up a flow so authentic over raw production self made on most tracks. Marko Stat$ is quickly making moves after the release of his LP BEE-4 I Fly Away. He has Been moving around the city hitting random venues supporting random charities and making history as he performs. From performing a show donating money to St Marys Convent School in Nigeria to hitting Notre Dame to be the first rap artist to perform in a certain building and hitting his first cypher amongst local artists with Pink Room. Stat$ is making sure his year is going out strong.
From all this a music video dawned for the track Power from the aforementioned LP. Already having a hand full of music videos up his sleeve with a freestyle, Jubilation, Nobody and others you can see him getting used to this Power hanging around all over the city, Varisse getting all the quality shots. Cannot wait to see what the new year has in store for this artist still blooming.
AmbI from Chicago got together with theMind to create a fantastic single and visual collaboration. Setting is in the studio and you can isntantly recognize some locals like Phoelix and Squeak Pivot. Miss Me is a smooth production with some real lyrics delivered smoothly. It is to be featured on a an upcoming project Study Hall you can hear amongst the chatter in the background even.
Just cause he can, Ric Wilson releases two tracks randomly. Might mean more new music on the way, might not. This creative soul from the South Side of Chicago just released Negrow Disco EP earlier in the year and he is just following up. Also coming up with a music video for Hangloose from the EP and a collab track with Hurley Mower. Droppin music almost discreetly you just need to keep your eyes and ears open for info like marking down January 4 on your calender.
Every song is different so far as he jumps genres and molds them together, mixing in Hip Hop and Soul, Dance and other elements. You can hear the difference between the two recent releases.
