Towkio Drifts Across Mexico Streets & Raw Beats [Music Video]

The inevitable has happened, Towkio titles a song Drift, matching the Fast and Furious.  But the setting subject in the music video is not even close to. Towkio takes his cameras to the sands of Mexico at the location of the Pyramid of the Sun, drifting the winding roads of the desert and scaling the high canyons.  Instantly and happily acknowledging he did not sample the movie tune, much to our satisfaction on the contrary Towkio raps over a heavy bass beat with fast percussive instrumentation filling your veins with adrenaline.

Amassing over five hundred thousand hits on youtube since its release is just a testament to the quality of this track. As part of the SAVEMONEY collective that kind of quality would be expected by now. Towkios career pretty much cemented associated with much of the music community changing the face of Chicagos hip hop scene in early twenty teens. Making similarly big moves to this day Towkio is scheduled to tour with Amine across the US. Catch the man to hear massive tune live.

No Lil Thing About Knox Fortune Music

Knox Fortune releases a Lil Thing for the fans. A real mellow electronic beat that will keep you in the clouds. Accompanied with the song, a music video setting the atmosphere visually.  The song includes additional assistance from Nico Segal and Carter Lang on production and Joey Purp with writing. Long time friends and collaborators.

The Producer from Chicago has a playlist filled with hip hop, pop and alternative beats with notable artists. In the early Twenty-Teens Knox was influential in the rise of successful Chicago artists. Brittney Carter Rising

If you look for female artists that break the mold of the ideal in today’s male dominated entertainment industry and in music specifically look no further than Brittney Carter. Coming from the southside of Chicago she can shred any mainstream artist with her sharp words and savage flow. Her passionate mind delivers a message of self love, strength and awakening. Her story is one for the warrior!

Carters story is only continuing to unfold as she continues to work and collaborate with different artists. Recently featured on Kw3st track Detour, the two artists turn out to flow really well together. Produced my Austin Marc, the slow heavy beat allow the writers to release a more aggressive flow.

oddCouple Reaches New Heights

Since the release of his LP Liberation oddCouple has been noted just about everywhere, though the producer has been making beats for quite some time in Chicago. Moving in locally to attend DePaul University in ’07, where he found himself acquainted with Chance the Rapper and his manger, he continued to fill his beat library.

For the producer also known as Zach Henderson however the rise has not been as glorifying as his current success. Dealing with parting ways with his original partner amongst other heavy losses within his life, Henderson found himself at a difficult crossroads between his passoin for music and the dreary 9-5. But a push to complete his first LP Chatterbox was made well worthy as a call from Closed Sessions before finishing the project turned his luck around.

Since then oddCouple worked with some of Chicago’s most popular. Jamila Woods, Mick Jenkins, Joey Purp, Chance the Rapper, Rich Jones & Kweku Collins to name just a few have all put in work with Henderson. Fast forward to 2017 today and this rising artist is enjoying the fruits of his labor. Recently coming out of a festival he curated with Summerfest in his hometown Milwaukee, theMID with Aux Cord DJ Sessions and Pitchfork after parties, oddCouple also humbly releases a single See The Sun. Reflecting on the light after a Liberation. Looking forward to see what he has planned next.

Rich Jones & Mykele DeVille – No Clue

Rich Jones has quite a reputation preceding him. Lot of collabs on his hands from oddCouple to Supa Bwe to Taylor Bennett. The artist is quite versitile in his style jumping between Soul, Hip Hop, R&B and Pop music. More than lyricist he is a poet. No Clue is a good testament to of many, speaking more than just words. This prompting another talented poet Mykele DeVille for a collab. The two flow ever so smoothly on this head bobbin beat.
