From Chicago Kyral x Banko been known amongst locals for their impressive bass anthems and remixes contributing to wild nights at Trap House and Porn & Chicken events. Riding under the Quality Goods banner following their Plenum Records and independent releases they have been gaining recognition nationally. Sharing stages with the likes of UZ, LOUDPVCK, Vic Mensa, Figure, Cookie Monsta and more, the duo established their name suddenly after landing opening slot for a sold out Flux Pavilion show for their first performance. With hard work and dedication the two capitalize on the opportunity and kept the momentum going.
Before Kyral x Banko, Collin Burdick and Bennet Kohler went to college together where they graduated chemistry and advertising; an essential key to getting their brand name out there through blogs and other sources. Just sharpening their DJ and production skills working on hip-hop beats originally, it has grown into complex layers of bass, synths, high hats and beat work. Just releasing their Focus EP on Quality Goods to follow Proper you can hear how their experimental style evolved.
The four track EP starts off with mild with some harmonic synths and chopped vocals leading into a Break of heavy bass drops and siren like synths. Bend It does just that, bend genres into a fusion of bass and moombahton influence to get a dance floor bouncin. The title track rumbles through the speakers like a trap anthem to prepare you for the Matrix with Matty Did That. Concluding that with some high energy the much anticipated EP is a must have for your playlist.
